Outsiders Take on Washington

We sat back for a few weeks observing the Presidential hopefuls as they vied to become one of the top ten candidates for the main debate. Millions of Americans watched all of the Republican Presidential debate and listened to the top journalists, commentators and junk yard dogs or critics attempt to analyze who’s who and who is destined to become one of the top Republican candidates for 2016.

Now a few days later it’s interesting to see that one common thread still exists in the critics’ corner. They’re clinging to their ancient political strategy hashing the “same ole, same ole” day in and day out. It reminds me of the old adage “Amateurs discuss strategy, but professionals discuss logistics.”

So the News media (critics) concentrates on some regurgitated form of political strategy while the outsiders address the logistics. Trump, Fiorina and Carson discuss the problems illegal immigration, our Military, foreign affairs and the economy laying out plans with solutions.

The “critics” can’t remove themselves from politics as usual; they keep reverting back to statistics and political history in past elections. Although it appears they will briefly give a nod to Fiorina, Trump and Carson, they can’t wrap their minds around the fact that any of these three might well end up in the Presidential seat.

None of these news analysts will take the time to venture into the American’s backyards and really listen to the rumble on the streets. They express sympathy for Americans and say they understand, but my bet is this – they don’t have a clue what is happening right in front of their eyes.

There is a powerful group of people (Americans) who want a new system and they’re not going to tolerate the rehashed political garbage they’ve been exposed to for years. Americans are on the move – one could almost refer to this movement as a revolution.

The News media acknowledges that Americans are angry, disillusioned and very unhappy with both political parties, but and this is a big but – they keep pretending that this movement in our Nation by the people is rather short-lived. Very few of the commentators and journalists can wrap their minds around the actual movement that is starting throughout our Country.

They believe in the end that Americans will sort of go back to politics as usual and land on a Republican Governor, Senator or one who has political expertise. They believe Donald, Carly and Ben will drop off along the way leaving the game wide open for Bush, Kasich, Rubio etc…

There is one major problem with their philosophy; the silent majority has awakened because the outsiders Donald, Carly and Ben have given them a glimmer of hope. Americans are starting to believe that “they the people” can take back their Country from the loosey goosey Republicans and the controlling demonizing Democrats.

Until the news media, journalists and commentators understand that the movement by the people is the driving force that will control the next Presidential election; they will remain in the dark and probably should be relegated to the ancient history shelves.

Today on Chris Wallace the consensus of opinion from George Will, Anne Gearan, Arthur Brooks and Bob Woodward is this; they believe Trump is short-lived and soon to self – detonate along with the other outsiders.

Chris Wallace is struggling with the three newcomers too – Chris knows he has to include them on his show in order to keep his ratings. Victim of the day for Chris was Dr. Ben Carson. His interview with Dr. Ben Carson was sort of a rerun of Kelly & Trump on debate night.

Remember the night of the debate when Kelly came prepared to devour Trump and spit him out in little pieces. Chris has a similar journalistic style to Megyn Kelly – he wants to place the one being interviewed in a corner and unmercifully dissect him or her.

But, it didn’t work today when Chris literally attacked Ben Carson for referring to Barack Obama as anti-Semitic. Gentle Ben was prepared for the attack.

In his quiet way, Dr. Carson simply clarified his statement by saying,

“I think anything is anti-Semitic that is against the survival of a state that is surrounded by enemies and by people who want to destroy them,” Carson responded. “And to sort of ignore that and to act like everything is normal there and that these people are paranoid, I think that’s anti-Semitic.”—>>Media (Ite) by Alex Griswold

These three outsiders plus Senator Cruz are listening to the people – they hear Americans loud and clear. The outsiders aren’t playing the political correct game and they aren’t playing the race card. Their message is on point, “Take Back Our Country, America, and make America great again.”
