The Democrat Media are Playing the Long Game

Timestamp: 10:00pm EST Thursday, Aug 20th…

I just got done watching Rachel Maddow spend 30 minutes, half of her nightly show, personally attacking Jeb Bush with the most condescending, nasty, vitriolic attacks I have heard in recent memory.

You will know whom the leftists are really scared of by paying attention to those they spend their time attacking.

They may spend more time covering the Trump campaign circus on a day-to-day basis, but they only attack those they are really scared of for the general election next Fall.

History repeats itself, sometimes in different iterations. Remember the genius of Bill Clinton’s reelection campaign in 1996 when they spent the month’s before Bob Dole was even nominated at the Convention viciously attacking him, mortally wounding his candidacy before he even gave his acceptance speech.

They are doing the same thing to Jeb Bush this Summer and this is not an endorsement of his candidacy. RedState conservatives have fair questions for the former Governor about his positions, particularly on Common Core and immigration, (he answered many of them at the RedState Gathering a couple weeks ago), but know this, once the Democrats get done with Jeb Bush and feel him mortally wounded, they will move on to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 100%, Carly Fiorina, or the next most viable candidate to their Queen in Waiting.

Mark my words…you won’t need polls to know who the next most viable non-Trump Republican candidate is, because the progressive left will coordinate a full-on assault similar to what is directed at Governor Bush today.

While the Country is distracted by Trump, Democrats are busy turning the foundations of other candidacies into quicksand.

Ignore the polls, ignore the media, pick your candidate and vote. @maddow, isn’t it time to have a real conservative on to offer an alternative perspective?
