Russian Warplanes Target Turkish Weapons Convoy in Syria
The Russian fighter jets bombed a Turkish convoy of trucks carrying weapons to terrorist groups in Syria.
The airstrikes hit the trucks which were carrying weapons from Turkey to the Takfiri terrorists fighting in Syria near Azaz town in Aleppo on Wednesday.
Also on Wednesday, the Syrian and Russian warplanes intensified their air raids on positions of the Takfiri terrorists across Aleppo province.
The Russian and Syrian airstrikes hit the Takfiri militants’ positions in the Southern countryside of Aleppo, the Arabic-language al-Mayadeen television said.
There were no immediate reports of possible casualties among the terrorists.
Earlier on Wednesday, sources said the Syrian Army and its allies have significantly advanced against the ISIL militants in the Eastern part of Aleppo province and have won back the important Humaymah hilltop.
The sources said that the Syria army, the country’s National Defense Forces (NDF) and the Lebanese Hezbollah fighters continued their joint anti-terrorism operation near the town of Humaymah al-Kabeera, and seized control over the strategic Tal Humaymah after fierce clashes with the Takfiri terrorists.
The sources further added that after recapturing of Tal Humaymah, the pro-government forces are now in a good position to strike the Western sector of the town that is currently under the control of the ISIL.
Humaymah al-Kabeera is strategically located to the East of the Kuweires Military Airport and to the West of the ISIL stronghold of Deir Hafer.
The Aleppo-Raqqa highway is passing through the middle of Humaymah al-Kabeera town.
Earlier reports said on Wednesday that the Syrian army launched an attack on ISIL defensive positions along the strategic Aleppo-Raqqa highway, inflicting heavy losses on the terrorists.
The Syrian forces launched a powerful assault on ISIL defensive positions along the highway, targeting the Siyasko Chemical Factory’s Western perimeter.
Following a series of fierce clashes with militants at the Eastern perimeter of the Siyasko Chemical Factory, the Syrian forces and its allies regained full control over the Aleppo-Raqqa Highway entrance to this facility.
Russian Air Force Cutting Off Illegal Deliveries of Oil Products From Syria
Russia is cutting off ISIL’s illegal oil flows, Kremlin spokesman noted.
Russia’s air group in Syria is severing illegal deliveries of oil products that help finance terrorism, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday.
“The Russian Air Force operation to support the Syrian army’s offensive against extremist groups and organizations is continuing. Russian planes, combat aircraft continue to operate, terrorist infrastructure is being destroyed. Illegal oil and petroleum product flows, which finance terrorism, are being severed,” Peskov told reporters.

Russia denies they bombed the convoy. Watch the video and you will no evidence of bomb craters in the area of the burning trucks. It looks like a staged false flag.
Yes i spotted that too and it’s not like Russia not to fess up and they are well within there rights to bomb these “Aid Convoys” that have been delivering weapons to terrorists inside Syria or did they forget to let the UN check the contents of the trucks like they did in the Ukraine crisis.
This looks like a false flag to me just like Turkey trying to pretend that a single bomber on the Syrian border was about to bomb Turkey, it’s security was in danger, it won’t wash.
Unless these 20 tanks are carrying tatical nuclear shells then they won’t be much use and Russia could take them all out in a single bomb run if they are all close togeather, it’s nothing

Putin will own Turkey and the media will sit on their own fists and act like it didn’t happen because they only report things when it’s pre-packaged and serves the western agenda. If it’s not then they stick their ostrich heads in the sand and act like it isn’t there. US media is still acting like the US is responsible for defeating ISIS; not one mention of Russia’s success in Syria. Al-Jazeera actually had some lamer on TV who said Russia wants regime change in Syria LOL
