Trump Goes Full On Into The Gutter With Tweet Mocking Heidi Cruz
At a certain point, a man who is nearly 70 years old, a husband, a father and a grandfather, who wants to be President of the United States, has to start behaving Presidential. Donald Trump, while expressing overtures to that kind of behavior, still hasn’t actually done it, and his schoolyard taunts on Twitter just make it all the worse.
As many of you know, Liz Mair’s Super PAC, ‘Make America Awesome’ ran some Facebook ads targeting Mormon voters in Utah with an ad that featured an image of Donald Trump’s wife, Melania from a GQ magazine shoot she did that featured her posing semi-nude. Whether you agree with Liz using the photo in the ad or not, it wasn’t an image that was taken unbeknownst to Mrs. Trump or some image that nobody had ever seen before. The image in question can be found in seconds just by using Google.
Additionally, Ted Cruz had nothing to do with the ad but that didn’t stop Trump from first saying he would “spill the beans” on Heidi Cruz, whatever that meant. Trump took it to a whole new level when he put this up:

Does this man have any shame whatsoever? I don’t have any problem with him taking exception to the Facebook ad. Melania is his wife. It is a perfectly natural thing to do. But to re-tweet that is really pathetic. The image of Cruz is clearly not a photo but a screen grab from video (in this case it was an interview on CNN with Dana Bash) and screen captures from video can often be unflattering. Mocking her over it is truly unbecoming. Sadder still, is Trump’s followers are probably hooting and hollering and loving every moment of this circus act.
Ted Cruz, for his part, responded in a manner much more befitting a man running for the highest office in the land.
