Just like the liberation of the Anbar provincial capital city of Ramadi earlier this year, Fallujah’s fate has also been sealed. A new offensive by the Iraqi Army, popular forces, and Iranian military advisors is now well underway to liberate Fallujah, the closest city to the capital Baghdad. Fallujah is in fact the longest-held ISIL city, falling in January of 2014, when a political turmoil provided an opening for the terrorists to take over parts of the city. Iraqi forces have been surrounding the city in recent months, pending this offensive. Some frantic propagandists in the West would like us to believe that the offensive will be deadly and destructive for the civilian population, which is far from the truth. Iraqi Army Spokesman Yahya Rasoul has ordered all civilians to leave the strategic city. Families who couldn’t leave have also been asked to raise white flags to mark their exact locations.

o minimize the number of civilian casualties, the popular forces are providing corridors and secured routes to escape through as well. And civilians by and large will be able to return when Fallujah falls under the government control again – just like hundreds of villages, cities, and towns recaptured by the soldiers, backed by Shia and Sunni fighters. Certainly, the offensive has nothing to do with sectarian tensions and the local ground forces are not self-interestedly focused on securing their own interests. Here, the allied forces tasked with flushing out the foreign-backed terrorists are approaching a moment of great victory. They have been fighting to end the gruesome violence that has plagued the northern and western parts of Iraq ever since the foreign-backed terrorists launched an offensive in June 2014, and took control of portions of the Iraqi territory. And by “foreign-backed terrorists” we mean this:

n her book “Hard Choices”, former US secretary of state and now presidential candidate Hillary Clinton acknowledges that the CIA created ISIL to curb Islamic awakening in the region. Clinton admits she lobbied with over 100 governments to convince them to support and recognize ISIL as a counterbalance. Likewise, Iranian Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei says, “Some Americans have confessed in their own memoirs that they have played a role in creating, developing and establishing ISIL. These criminal organizations, including Al-Qaeda, ISIL and the like, were created with the purpose of pitting us against one another and making nations confront each other.” In other words, Clinton’s acknowledgement serves as further proof that it is indeed the United States and its regional cohorts, and not just ISIL, which have occupied and destroyed many regions in Iraq and Syria. So the forthcoming victory over the death cult of ISIL in Fallujah also means a victory over Washington and its partners in crime.

To this end, the ground component tasked with flushing out ISIL from Fallujah has no selfish interests. They have developed both the capacity and the will to defeat ISIL. They are not split by sectarian religious disputes and ethnic divisions either. They don’t need to be led by first-tier Western armies, nor do they need to include Iraq’s neighbors and Western “allies” like Turkey. The allied forces have committed sufficient capacity to liberate Fallujah without dependency on any foreign actor. They know that Western intervention of the scale and scope required to defeat ISIL will never happen, given popular aversion to further ground commitments of the type that failed to stabilize Afghanistan and Iraq already, as well as the political correctness and complacency about the true risks presented by the so-called “moderates” in Syria. Likewise, the allied forces know it just too well that they have international obligations and support to get rid of terrorists, as well as to follow their citizenry’s popular will, no matter how big the sacrifices. In the absence of such commitment, ISIL will surely dominate its current territory indefinitely, in yet another lingering war, in yet another failed state, with yet more contagion to the Middle East and Europe.

A representative of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) has told Sputnik Turkey that the SDF has launched a large-scale three-pronged offensive to liberate Syria’s third-largest city Raqqa, which has been the ‘capital’ city of Daesh terrorists for over 2.5 years. Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on Tuesday began a massive three-pronged offensive on Raqqa, Daesh the self-proclaimed capital in Syria and the third-largest city in the country. The offensive began simultaneously from three flanks under the command of Ehrar Rakka and Liva Tahrir units which are comprised of Raqqa residents and are part of the SDF. Up to 12,000 fighters are reported to be taking part in the operation.

Tackır Kobani, a representative of SDF has told Sputnik that, part of the operation, the forces are launching an offensive from Eyn İssa settlement under aerial coverage of the US-led anti-terrorist coalition forces, which are conducting massive air strikes on Daesh positions in the region. Syrian Democratic Forces are also conducting air strikes on Daesh positions in the north of Raqqa, using heavy armaments.Other reports suggest that fighters of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) are also taking part in the operation.

Earlier on Monday, member of political division of the Social-Nationalist Party of Syria, Tariq al-Ahmad geopolitically compared the planned liberation of Raqqa to the capture of Berlin during World War II. “In general, I believe that Raqqa is symbolic due to the presence of Daesh and it is declared as their capital by them. Taking back Raqqa can be compared with the capture of Berlin in World War II. I say this in a political and geopolitical sense,” al-Ahmad said.

The ISIL movements and evacuation of its forces and military hardware from Raqqa and their deployment to Deir Ezzur and the oil-rich regions of Syria have strengthened the possibility of a collusion between the terrorists and Western meddlers in Syria war, informed sources said. “The ISIL has been transferring a large number of its forces and their heavy military equipment to the energy-rich regions in the Eastern Syria, mainly in Deir Ezzur and Eastern Homs, to save its revenues from smuggling of oil and gas,” the sources said, adding, “The ISIL had previously made such decisions, including retreating from al-Houl and al-Shadadi in Hasaka where the terrorist group left the battlefields without any resistance against the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).”

“The ISIL decision to leave capital of the self-proclaimed Caliphate for the SDF fighters and their American backers without resistance is in line with the US policy in Syria which opposes the Syrian government forces’ rule and control over the country’s energy-rich regions in Deir Ezzur and Homs,” the sources added. “The ISIL has thus far transferred 12 Hummer vehicles from Raqqa to Albu Kamal in Deir Ezzur and has deployed several US-made Abrams artilleries to the village of al-Hosseiniyeh Northwestern of Deir Ezzur,” they added. Informed sources within the SDF ranks announced on Saturday that the SDF fighters are preparing to launch a large-scale operation to end the ISIL terrorists’ rule over the Northeastern province of Raqqa. “The Syrian Democratic Forces that are mainly comprised of Kurdish fighters are ready to storm the ISIL terrorists’ positions in the capital of self-proclaimed Caliphate,” the sources said.

“In the meantime, the US warplanes dropped leaflets over the city of Raqqa on Thursday and demanded civilians to leave the city as soon as possible,” they added

Alleged peace-maker John Kerry threatened to wage war-without-end on Syria – if the Middle East country does accept the US demand for regime change. That’s hardly the language of a supposed bona fide diplomat who presents an image to the world as a politician concerned to bring about an end to the five-year Syrian conflict. The US Secretary of State repeatedly sounds anxious to alleviate the appalling suffering of the Syrian nation, where over the past five years some 400,000 people have been killed and millions displaced as refugees. Anyone who has not been brainwashed by Western media propaganda knows full well that the suffering of Syria has been caused by Washington and its allies sponsoring a covert war for regime change in that country.

Kerry was speaking during another round of failed negotiations — this time in Vienna — along with other leaders from the 17-nation International Syria Support Group that includes Russia, as well as the United Nations. The “support group” is a disgustingly erroneous name, given that certain members of this entity — primarily the US, Saudi Arabia and Turkey — have done everything in their power to sponsor a proxy terrorist war on Syria. If the truth were not so abject, it would be laughable. In a Voice of America report headlined “US still has leverage in Syria,” Kerry is quoted thus: “He said the greatest leverage [on Syria] was the fact that [President] Assad and his backers would never be able to end the war in Syria if they declined to negotiate a political settlement.”

……..Kerry’s apparent confidence in predicting that Syria faces a war of attrition if it does capitulate is a tacit admission by Washington that it controls the illegally armed factions in Syria. The United States may officially proscribe terror groups like al Qaeda-linked Jabhat al Nusra and the so-called Islamic State (also known as Daesh). The US pays lip service to “defeating terrorism”. But anyone with an informed understanding of what is really happening in Syria and other countries subjected to US-led regime change knows that Washington has orchestrated these same terror groups for its criminal political objectives. This is corroborated by the fact that Washington refuses to coordinate its (ineffectual) bombing campaign with Russia to eliminate the terror groups. It is corroborated by the fact that Washington and its allies point-blank refuse Russia’s proposals at the UN Security Council to designate other known terror outfits — Jaysh al-Islam and Ahrar al-Shams — as terrorist.

Jaysh al-Islam and Ahrar al-Shams are every bit as vile and barbaric as the other al Qaeda-affiliated franchises. They all espouse the same twisted death-cult ideology; fight alongside each others (when they are not feuding, that is, over war spoils); and ultimately they all share the same sponsors and American-supplied weaponry. It is openly admitted that America’s allies Saudi Arabia and Turkey, as well as Qatar, bankroll Jaysh al-Islam and Ahrar al-Shams and that this nexus serves as a conduit for American weapons from the Central Intelligence Agency. Why else would John Kerry begin his week of “diplomacy” in Vienna by first making an urgent visit to Saudi King Salman last weekend. Kerry was reportedly appealing to the 9/11-sponsoring Saudi regime to support his diplomatic push in Vienna. The Western media “reported” Kerry’s Saudi visit as if it were a benign mission, as they usually do. Whenever it should be obvious that what he was really doing was trying to get the Saudis to ease off on the terror war in Syria…………….
