Regardless, if you’re a Donald Trump fan, Hillary Clinton fan or Bernie Sanders fan; Donald Trump will be our next president.
Donald Trump’s ascent of the Republican party has been quite amusing and controversial. His success has been terrifying to most Democrats and many liberals. Those who do plan on voting and define themselves as “anti-establishment”, meaning they will not vote for candidates with familial ties to former presidents, face a dilemma. Both Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders hold the majority of votes of those who define themselves as “anti-establishment”. However, Donald Trump’s pattern of changing the rules of politics across the country has certainly set him apart from other candidates.
Donald Trump has positioned himself as the ideal candidate for all angry protest voters. In a sense, Trump is the vote against all politicians, from any party.
Another interesting note about Trump, he has done a better job attacking the Republican candidates than any of the Democratic candidates so far. Could this be a strategic move on Trump’s part, sure. Is it smart for his campaign, absolutely.
As we approach the election month, many predict Trump will have all of the Republican votes and large chunk of voters who support Bernie Sanders.
Since Republicans control both houses of Congress, Trump may not be an ideal leader for the Republican Party, however, he will be an effective follower of the Republican Party. Some even speculate, Mr. Trump himself will do as he is told by the Republican Party when he wins the upcoming presidency.
