Shorter Trump: If I Don’t Win… So What? (VIDEO)

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

He’s in it to win it, right?

This is a serious campaign, right?

I have answered a resounding NO to both of those questions from the moment this orange buffoon entered the race. There’s no way around it, and that there are officials with the GOP who want to treat this man and his candidacy as anything more than a publicity stunt is astounding. I thought they were supposed to be smarter than that.

Donald Trump may have some needling draw of the ego that makes winning desirable, but if that doesn’t happen, so what? He was a rich elitist before entering, and the working class rabble that clamor to be near his celebrity are nothing more than tools to him, to be forgotten and tossed aside, like cheap, Chinese-made ball caps, once their use to him is over.

Donald Trump wants to win the presidency, but if he doesn’t it won’t impact him very much. In an interview Thursday morning with CNBC, Trump said is loses the election “it’s OK. I go back to a very good way of life.”

Is anybody seeing the problem with that statement? Such a nonchalant statement at least gives the voters a glimpse into why he’s treating this race less as a serious national issue and more like a high school popularity contest.

When asked if he thought maybe his comments about Obama being the founder of ISIS made him sound like an unhinged moron (Ok… not exactly what they said, but I’m sure it’s what they were thinking), he offered up this nugget:

“All I do is tell the truth,” Trump responded, “and if at the end of 90 days, I’ve fallen short because I’m somewhat politically correct, even though I’m supposed to be the smart one, and even though I’m supposed to have a lot of good ideas, it’s OK. I go back to a very good way of life. It’s not what I’m looking to do. I think we’re going to have a victory, but we’ll see.”

This sounds like a man focused and driven, does it not?

No. It actually doesn’t, and our nation will suffer for this.
