Rosie O’Donnell Attempts to Defend Her Comments on Barron Trump… and Fails

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

As I wrote about earlier this week, Rosie O’Donnell tweeted a You Tube video that speculated that Barron Trump has autism, and after receiving a barrage of critical tweets she claimed she only did it out of “care and concern.”

Instead of just letting it go, on Saturday Rosie again defended (in an odd style of poetry that seems to poorly imitate e.e. cummings) her actions, this time adding that her 3.5-year-old daughter Dakota was diagnosed with high functioning autism in September.

Again Rosie claimed the video was “educational and informational” and that “IF” Barron had autism it would “help so much with the autism epidemic.”

Rosie’s post does nothing to help her position; in fact, her reasoning makes her actions even more deplorable. She claims she wants to bring awareness to autism and help educate people. Well, Rosie, your bully pulpit is as big as Donald Trump’s. If your daughter was diagnosed in September, you have had two months to use your own child as an example or to tweet videos or articles to help people understand autism.

But you didn’t. You tweeted a video from an unknown source about someone else’s child.

There’s no excuse.
