Trump Goes After the Recount

President-elect Donald Trump, after ignoring Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein’s Wisconsin presidential recount and planned recounts in Michigan and Pennsylvania, has had enough.

Trump took Stein to task Saturday for calling for a recount, calling it a “scam.”

The people have spoken and the election is over, and as Hillary Clinton herself said on election night, in addition to her conceding by congratulating me, ‘We must accept this result and then look to the future.

This is a scam by the Green Party for an election that has already been conceded, and the results of this election should be respected instead of being challenged and abused, which is exactly what Jill Stein is doing.

This recount is just a way for Jill Stein, who received less than one percent of the vote overall and wasn’t even on the ballot in many states, to fill her coffers with money, most of which she will never even spend on this ridiculous recount

As we reported earlier, the push for a recount is the result of a Liberal conspiracy theory that voting machines might have been hacked. And as my colleague, Andrea Ruth’s reported, Hillary’s campaign has decided to join the recounts even though they have found no evidence of the any hacking.

According to The Hill, Trump’s statement did not mention Hillary by name, despite the fact that her campaign had already announced it had joined the recount.

Hillary conceded to Trump in a phone call election shortly after the election was called and the next day in a regular, if delayed, concession speech.
