Drew Carey’s Son Identified as “Screw the President” Kid at Anti-Trump Protest

Remember this kid? The bratty boy who confessed to arson then screamed, “Screw The President” at an anti-Trump protest on the eve of the Inauguration? Krauthammer thought he had a “whiff of ISIS” to him. My only question at the time was, “Where are the Parents”?

That question now has an answer. TMZ revealed on Thursday that they have identified him as the son of comedian and talk show host, Drew Carey. I’m as shocked as you are.

Let me refresh your memory…

2017 is nothing if not full of surprises. When I scolded the absent parents in my previous post, I couldn’t have imagined we’d actually know the kid’s dad. There was some confusion over the child’s name, now no longer. He’s Connor Carey, his dad hosts The Price is Right.

News footage of the boy went viral after the inauguration eve protest in Washington D.C. — and we’ve confirmed it was 11-year-old Connor behind one of the night’s most memorable moments.

A source close to Drew tells us Connor got caught up in the emotions of the crowd around him, and he was in hot water afterward. We’re told Drew and Connor’s mom were upset about how he expressed himself to the reporter, and talked to him about his language.The source says Connor “regretted his choice of words” after the chat with his folks.

After the “chat with his folks”? This kid set a bonfire and acted like an anarchist on national television. TMZ reported that Drew Carey was at the protest, but at that time Connor was not with his Dad. Where was Drew Carey when his kid set the fire? Took over the broadcast? I’d like to know.

I don’t approve of people taking kids to these things because the event can become dangerous. I hadn’t thought of the possibility that the children where the danger. I’d like to hear from Drew Carey on this one. I’ll wait.
