One Of Donald Trump’s Secret Service Detail Says She Wouldn’t Save Trump’s Life

This is pretty incredible and it goes to show the extent to which Obama has politicized the civil service and made acting in a blatantly partisan way SOP. We saw a hint of this transformation when career IRS employees willingly went along with an effort to target conservative non-profits. But this is just too much:

A senior U.S. Secret Service agent posted Facebook condemnations of President Trump during the past seven months, including one in which she said she wouldn’t want to “take a bullet” for him.

She explained herself saying she viewed his presidential candidacy as a “disaster” for the country, and especially for women and minorities.

Kerry O’Grady, the special agent in charge of the Secret Service’s Denver district, oversees coordination with Washington-based advance teams for all presidential candidate and presidential trips to the area, including all upcoming or future trips by the president, vice president or Trump administration officials.

What demonstrates the management climate in the Secret Service is now heavily partisan is that she felt so comfortable with her politics that she posted it on Facebook, where her federal employment is obvious:

This post, by the way, is blatantly illegal under the Hatch Act as it advocates for a specific candidate in a partisan election, which, ironically, is one of the very few things that can actually get a federal employee fired or demoted very quickly:

May not use any email account or social media to distribute, send or forward content that advocates for or against a partisan political party, candidate for partisan political office, or partisan political group.

One hopes that this gets the attention it deserves.
