In a bipartisan vote, the U.S. House voted to rebuke the United Nations over what some lawmakers called a one-sided, anti-Israel resolution, aimed at stopping Israeli settlements along the West Bank and in east Jersalem.

Both Republican and Democrat lawmakers spoke out against the U.N. resolution.

Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) called the U.N. resolution “deeply flawed,” stating that it did not accurately portray U.S. policy on Israeli settlements.

Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA) stressed disgust over the U.S. decision to sit by, while the world “mocked and criticized” our strongest ally.

In the end, the vote passed, 235 – 187.
