Shaun King is a Crack-Pot That Called the Kettle Black

Token White-Guy-Who-Thinks-He’s-Black-Guy Shaun King stepped into it with both feet yesterday when he took to the Twittersphere to lambast Ben Carson’s overtly stupid comment (as written about by my colleague Susan Wright) about immigrants and slavery.

Here’s a quick refresher of Secretary Carson’s comments:

“That’s what America is about. A land of dreams and opportunity,” Carson said. “There were other immigrants who came here in the bottom of slave ships, worked even longer, even harder for less.”

He added: “But they, too, had a dream that one day their sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, great-granddaughters might pursue prosperity and happiness in this land.”

When Shaun “I don’t know how the Constitution works” King (thanks Jim Jamitis) isn’t crowd sourcing his research on Twitter, he is usually off protesting something for the sake of protesting something. Yesterday was no exception as he Tweeted about his displeasure with Carson’s statement:

Even more funny is that he retweeted Samuel L. Jackson’s Tweet in response to Ben Carson:

OK!! Ben Carson….I can’t! Immigrants ? In the bottom of SLAVE SHIPS??!! MUTHAFUKKA PLEASE!!!#dickheadedtom

Talcum X, like the New York Times, forgets the Internet is forever and never goes away.  Apparently, way back in 2015, Jeffrey (Shaun’s real name) thought that slaves were immigrants.

If Shaun spent half as much time researching the Constitution as he does wedging himself into a state of perpetual outrage, he might realize just how dumb he appears to the rest of us.  More importantly Shaun, What would Samuel L. Jackson think?!

I wonder how long it is before Shaun becomes Rachel Dolezal?  What’s the over-under?
