Three Things The World Has Learned Since Trump Took Office

President Trump is already one of the most polarizing presidents we have ever seen, and he has only been in office for 100 days.

Trump has accomplished many things, and reneged on a few campaign promises, but he has sent a very clear message to the world.

Here are three things the world has learned since Trump took office:

1. Obama’s awful foreign policy is more transparent now than ever before. 

In the last three weeks alone, president Trump has carried out two major foreign policy strikes.

First, President Trump authorized the military to use the “Mother Of All Bombs” (MOAB) on ISIS in Afghanistan on Thursday that killed upwards of 100 ISIS fighters and destroyed underground tunnels.

Second, Trump also made the crucial decision to order missile strikes against the Assad regime in Syria after it was revealed that Assad used chemical weapons on his own people.

Obama’s refusal to act in 2013 when the world saw what the Assad regime did to his own people with chemical weapons proved Obama didn’t have the backbone to act. Obama also refused to do much of anything when it came to defeating and combating ISIS.

The sharp contrast between Obama and Trump is highly evident. Trump’s missile strike on the Syrian airbase and the bomb dropping on ISIS was intended to let the world know that the United States will act when necessary.

Obama’s “do-nothing” policies have also bolstered North Korea over the years. Trump has warned North Korea about further launching intercontinental ballistic missiles, and he has the support of China going forward, as well.

Obama damaged the country in many ways, but his most violent act was when he tarnished our image globally. Our allies no longer counted on us and our enemies no longer feared us. Obama was responsible for that.

2. Trump’s “connection” to Russia has exploded. 

Until we see the reports from Congress, left-wing fanatics don’t have any proof of anything.

Whether people have moved on or are busy dealing with real world conflicts, the world seems to be more interested in substantive dialogue.

On top of that, Trump’s recent military attack on the Assad regime coupled with the verbal threats hurled at Russia, it appears Trump does not have any allegiance to Putin after all.

Until Congress releases definitive proof showing connections between Trump and Russian officials, this is nothing more than a conspiracy theory. Trump has been tougher with Russia in his first 100 days than Obama ever was in eight years.

For the first time in eight years, our allies are starting to trust us and our enemies are beginning to fear us again.

Whether that is with trade, defeating terrorism, securing our borders, or many other things, the world will always be a better place when the United States leads.

Ronald Reagan said the fight between the West and the Soviet Union was between “good and evil,” and we see a similar version of that fight today.

To Reagan, ignoring “the facts of history and the aggressive impulses of an evil empire,” would be to “remove yourself from the struggle between right and wrong and good and evil.”

Time will tell if Trump is able to accomplish great things like Reagan, but the world sees that that Trump is fighting back against the “evil” in the world unlike Obama.
