Hot Topics Coming Out Of Rod Rosenstein’s Briefing To the Senate
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein briefed the entirety of the United States Senate today on the Comey firing and what is happening now. Lots of interesting stuff came out of it.
First, Rosenstein said that he knew Comey was going to be fired before he wrote his memo. This is not a shocker to anyone as I think that had been conclusively established earlier. Be that as it may, we now have it from Rosenstein himself that his memo was a post facto justification not an initial recommendation.

Lindsey Graham emerged as the main voice on the briefing.
The senate investigations will have to take a back seat to the special counsel.
“I’m not so sure we can do it now,” the South Carolina Republican said. “You’ve got a special counsel who has prosecutorial powers now, and I think we in Congress have to be very careful not to interfere.”

Graham also said he had not yet received a response from Comey, who was fired by President Donald Trump last week.
“We’re gonna have to put him on a milk carton,” Graham said. “’Have you seen this man?’”

I’m not sure that is news. Grand juries don’t issue subpoenas in counterintelligence investigations. And Mueller’s appointment letter clearly authorizes him to pursue indictments. But this will be the NeverTrump talking point.
Graham believes Flynn was right to refuse the Senate subpoena.
“I find it hard to subpoena records of somebody like Mr. [Mike] Flynn, who may be subject to a criminal investigation because he has the right not to incriminate himself,” he said. “If I were Mr. Mueller, I would jealously guard the witness pool.”
“So one of the big losers in this decision is the public,” he said.

James Comey, the now former head of the FBI, is also the former General Counsel of Lockheed Martin, the largest defense contractor and weapons manufacturer in America and hedge fund advisor.
Lockheed Martin used to run significant information and payment systems at the Department of Defense. They appear to have spun their subsidiary out of the company after DOD closed their fiscal 2015, with $6.5 trillion of undocumentable adjustments. Here is what you need to know about James Comey. Everything he said or did related to Hillary Clinton or President Trump is unimportant. The fact that James Comey did and said nothing about $6. 5 trillion missing from your government in fiscal 2015 tells you all you need to know about James Comey.
Here is a description of the FBI’s legal powers and authority. If the US government is missing trillions of dollars, don’t you think it is the FBI’s highest priority to figure out where the money went and get it back?
