You can take the guy out of the White House, but you can’t take the White House out of the guy. Or something like that.

Indicating that he has no intention of acting in the dignified manner befitting a former president, Barack Obama has decided that he needs to insert his narcissistic self into our nation’s foreign affairs. He released a video on Twitter today in which he endorses center-left Emmanuel Macron in the French election.

Despite his spokesperson earlier denying that Obama would not meddle in the election, Obama says in the video that he’s “not planning on getting involved in many elections now that I don’t have to run for office again, but the French election is very important to the future of France and the values that we care so much about.”

He just can’t help himself.
