At least nine killed in Damascus bombing

The Rebel group Faylaq Al-Rahman and Free Syrian Army, accused the Syrian Arab Army of carrying out n attack with chlorine Gas in Ayn Tarma in Eastern Damascus suburbs… They voiced their claim ONLY FOUR DAYS after US white house released a statement WARNING about CHEMICAL ATTACK… Dozens of Soldiers and insurgents alike were killed in the Eastern Damascus suburbs on Saturday, as both sides tried to win the upper hand with no decisive out come for the time being… With heavy clashes taking place in both Jobar and Ayn Tarma the F.S.A & Faylaq Al-Rahman deployed the best fighters in trenches, sniper positions, and door-to-door combat to repel the juggernaut of the 105th Brigade of the Republican Guard… On the other hand dozens of Government Airstrikes struck suspected insurgent positions… The Syrian Arab Army’s 105th Brigade of the Republican Guard seized almost all of the buildings overlooking the strategic Al-Sanabel fuel station and the Ayn Tarma junction, near the Southern bypass of the highway, a vital crossroad on the M5-Highway… The Syrian Arab Army’s offensive in Ayn Tarma which ultimately looks to cut off and isolate the embattled Jobar Neighbourhood from the East Ghouta, rebel Heartland… With only two opposition pockets left in Damascus, the capital and its countryside are expected to be full restored under Government control within the next 12 months…

Syrian Army, Hezbollah, Russian Soldiers Resume Operation in Eastern Homs

The Syrian Army troops, the Lebanese Hezbollah fighters and Russian soldiers launched a new wave of offensives in Southeastern Homs, targeting ISIL’s positions near the provincial border with Deir Ezzur.

According to battlefield reports, pro-government forces, including the Syrian soldiers, Hezbollah fighters and the Russian army men, started a new phase of large-scale assault in the Humeimeh region, capturing most of the hilltops, while also killing and wounding several Takfiri terrorists along the road to Deir Ezzur province.

Also, two huge army convoys brushed aside ISIL resistance in Eastern Homs and pushed through several kilometers of desert to meet around the ISIL bastion of Humeimeh.

The units took two hills overlooking Humeimeh and forced ISIL to withdraw from the region during the clashes.

Amidst ongoing clashes between pro-government forces and the ISIL terrorist group in areas to the East of Palmyra, footage showed that Russian troops embedded with Syrian Army troops in the frontline in Eastern Homs.

According to a battlefield source, the Syrian Army hopes to establish control over the T2 Pumping Station to use it as a launchpad to direct two simultaneous offensives to relieve the besieged provincial capital of Deir Ezzur and to take the border town of Albu Kamal South of the Euphrates.

Relevant reports said on Wednesday that the army soldiers that drove ISIL out of al-Zali’eiyat region near Humeimeh region at the borders between Homs and Deir Ezzur province continued to advance in the region and took control over several positions 4km East of al-Zali’eiyat and over 70km away from the Eastern direction of the third power plan.

A military source said that the army troops inflicted heavy casualties on the terrorists and destroyed a large number of their vehicles and military equipment.

Israel Targets Syrian Army Positions Following Terrorists’ Heavy Defeat in Al-Ba’ath

The Arabic-language media sources reported that the Israeli missile units opened fire at the Syrian army positions in Quneitra province after the latter inflicted a heavy defeat on Al-Nusra Front (also known as Fatah al-Sham Front or the Levant Liberation Board) in the town of al-Ba’ath.

The al-Mayadeen reported that the Israeli missile units deployed in occupied Golan Heights in Tal (hill) Abu al-Nadi fired three missiles at army positions near Naba’a al-Fawar, damaging the army’s equipment.

The Israeli attack was done after the army soldiers repelled an Al-Nusra attack in al-Ba’ath and then in a rapid counter-attack recaptured lost lands.

Relevant reports said on Saturday that an Israeli military helicopter targeted two positions of the Syrian Army in areas near the town of Eastern al-Samadaniyeh and another position around the town of al-Ba’ath.

No accurate information has been released on the possible damage to the Syrian army.

In the meantime, the Arabic-language Elam al-Harbi news reported that the terrorists of Al-Nusra Front have intentionally increased their mortar attacks on occupied lands in the Golan Heights to give another pretext to the Israeli forces to target the Syrian Army’s strongholds in Quneitra.

Backed by N.D.F, the Syrian Arab Army managed to recaptured the quarries area West of Ba’ath city in Quneitra province, captured earlier by the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, during their five-days offensive on the Government stronghold… Thought supported by several Israeli Airstrikes in Syria’s Southern province the Jihadist forces of Jaysh Muhammad operation room have been pushed back from all territories they advanced into around Ba’ath city… Meanwhile the Israeli Air force launched its fourth Airstrike against Syrian Army today, targeting a Syrian Army’s Artillery position in the 5th Regiment Base, located in the nearby Nabe Al-Fiwar area, destroying a field gun and inflicting no casualties… Note that the Rebel Mefia outlets, have admitted the failure of the Quneitra offensive blaming the shortcoming on the lack of effective coordination between the factions participating in the operation…

The Syrian Arab Army’s Tiger Forces have retaken a T-72 Battle-Tank, that was captured by the so-called Islamic State during the Battle for East Aleppo… The T-72 Battle-Tank was featured in several propaganda videos released by the Isis in the past… It was retaken by the Tiger Forces in the Western countryside of the Al-Raqqah Governorate… Also is the video many destroyed Isis Battle-Tanks,Petrol tanker,car, etc..

The comprehensive military campaign by Iraqi military forces to liberate the Northern city of Mosul from ISIL militants continued on Sunday, as local reports said the government forces recaptured more areas in Mosul’s Old City as they pushed to the last few meters held by the terrorist group.

The Defense Ministry’s War Media Cell said the army’s Counter-Terrorism Forces recaptured Mekkawi area in the Old City and raised Iraqi flags above the area’s buildings, Iraqi News reported.

Federal Police chief, Lt. Gen. Shaker Jawdat, said his forces killed the militants and set 550 civilians free after taking over Bab Jadid neighborhood in the Old City and consummated the recapture of al-Shifa district, a medical and health facilities hub north of the medieval district.

Iraqi forces foiled a huge attack by the ISIL militant group in a village, West of Anbar after the militants attacked the Iraqi army and the tribal forces in the Western Iraqi province, local media said.

“ISIL militants attacked the Iraqi army and the tribal forces in al-Sakra village, West of Haditha town, Western Anbar, using armored and booby-trapped vehicles and weapons” said the mayor of Haditha, Mabrouk Hamid, Iraqi News reported.

The army and tribal troops thwarted the attack and inflicted huge losses on the enemy, killing twenty militants, including suicide attackers, and destroying their weapons, Hamid added.

Iraqi Police Chief Says Still Four Districts Remain under ISIL Grip in Mosul’s Old City

A senior Iraqi officer declared the remaining districts that are still under ISIL control in Mosul’s Old City.

“The remaining regions for the Federal Police troops to free from ISIL militants in the Old City include al-Nujeifi, al-Sarai and parts of Lakash and Bab Jadid,” said Chief of Federal Police Shaker Jawdat, Irqaqi News reported.

The four regions, according to Jawdat, are still held by ISIL. Once liberated, Federal Police will announce accomplishing its goals there.

In a press release, Jawdat revealed death of dozens of militants as his troops advanced to liberate al-Shifa district, a main district in North of Old City.
