Syrian Army Turns Militants Back In Northern Hama

The Syrian Arab Army’s(Qalamoun Shield) and their Allies continues to resumed their offensive in the Northeastern countryside of Hama Governorate targeting Al-Qaeda’s linked Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (former Jabhat Al-Nusra) positions in the villages of Abu Ghir, Hasnawi, and tribal areas prior to the capture… Video footage released by Hezbollah’s official media wing, showed the bombing operations by the Syrian Army’s Battle-Tanks and Artillery shells, that targeting the positions of the Al-Nusras front in Abu Al-Ghir and Al-Hasnawi, expel the remaining H.T.S militants from the villages and its surrounding hills giving them full control over this area…

Deir Ezzur: Syrian Army Lays Siege on ISIL’s Main Stronghold at Border with Iraq

The Syrian Army troops made a major push against ISIL in the town of Albu Kamal in Southeastern Deir Ezzur, and laid siege on the ISIL terrorists from different directions, field sources reported on Wednesday.

The sources confirmed that the army units, backed up by the Russian and Syrian air support, managed to advance against ISIL in the outskirts of Albu Kamal, laying siege on the terrorist-held town from the Eastern, Southern and Western directions up to the settlements of al-Sukriyeh and al-Hamdan.

Also, the army’s artillery and missile units pounded ISIL’s positions inside the town.

In the meantime, other units of the army are advancing against ISIL in the Northern direction of Albu Kamal.

Dissident-affiliated websites reported on Tuesday that the ISIL terrorist group handed over Syria’s second largest oilfield in Deir Ezzur province to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) within the framework of an agreement.

The websites reported that the ISIL delivered control of al-Tanak oilfield, Syria’s second largest oilfield, to the SDF without any clashes in line with an agreement tat envisages surrendering their positions to the US-back forces.

The oilfield is located 35km East of Deir Ezzur city.
