Feinstein: People Will DIE if the Government Shuts Down

Lock your doors, bar your windows, and get ready to turn your fearful screeches up to 11, because a government shutdown means people are going to freakin’ DIE according to Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif).

That’s right, folks. If the repeal of Net Neutrality, the GOP tax bill, or having to pump your own gas didn’t get you, then you have NO IDEA what’s coming for you now.

And according to The Hill, Feinstein warns that the thing coming for you is LIFE.

“Shutting down the government is a very serious thing. People die, accidents happen. You don’t know. Necessary functions can cease,” Feinstein said on CNN.

Is that what you want to be exposed to? Accidents?! God knows that accidents only happen when that eight percent of the government is shut down.

But Feinstein is willing to sacrifice your life to fight the new Republican spending bill, that is, unless it contains a fix for the Deferred Action Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

According to The Hill, she’s joined by other Democrats who are willing to let rivers of blood flow if it means getting what they want:

Even with Feinstein’s uncertainty, Senate Democrats said Thursday they have the necessary votes to block a House measure to fund the government through mid-February.

According to The Hill’s whip list, nearly 40 Democratic senators are prepared to vote “no” on the GOP bill, as are a few Republicans.

Republicans and Democrats essentially holding a gun to the heads of every American by not putting a security guard at the WW2 memorial in DC should the shutdown occur on Saturday.

Will no one save us from this awful fate? Will neither Republican or Democrat back down as they continue to scream at each other incessantly about stupid Obama-era programs that will never pass as the United States burns to the ground around them over the temporary halt of a sliver of the government?

Or will I wake up on Saturday morning, drink some coffee, maybe run some errands, and forget Washington exists like the rest of America for a couple of days?

Probably the latter, since many of us are still alive after all the apocalypse we’ve gone through.
