Starbucks is Currently Learning that You Can’t Please SJWs the Hard Way

Starbucks can’t catch a break lately, but that is 100 percent their fault as they fed the social justice monster hoping it would eat them last.

For those not up to date on the coffee chain’s drama, Starbucks called the police on two black men who had not ordered anything, but were instead sitting in their store. Police arrived and asked the men to leave, but police say the men were being uncooperative and arrested the duo.

This, of course, sparked national outrage and social justice protesters stormed the Starbucks where the two men were arrested. It was there that a poor worker named Kevin received the brunt of the mob’s outrage despite his innocence.

Starbucks whose CEO Kevin Johnson immediately pulled out all the stops for damage control. He visited the two men to apologize personally, and instituted a rule that all Starbucks employees must be trained to deal with their own racial biases.

Of course, none of this has the social justice crowd satiated. They don’t just want an apology and a solution, they want Starbucks’ soul.

The Omega Psi Phi fraternity whose fraternity brother, Rashon Nelson, was one of the persons arrested in Starbucks, held a rally attended by some 100 protesters demonstrated against “racial injustice” at the same Starbucks on Sunday. It was there that a city councilman gave a speech demanding more from Starbucks.

According to Yahoo News,

“The actions of the Starbucks corporation are totally unacceptable,” Philadelphia Councilman Kenyatta Johnson told protesters Sunday. “We know they said they’re going to move forward and specifically focus on a training that deals with unconscious bias, but that’s a one-day training.

“We want to see how they’re going to change their culture as it relates to racial insensitivity and also diversity and inclusion as it relates to making sure that everyone who comes to a Starbucks store that lives in the city of Philadelphia should feel welcome,” he added.

In social justice speak this typically means that they want Starbucks to alter their business in some way that will make it more SJW friendly. This usually involves irrational demands that Starbucks corporate will try to meet, and upon doing so will watch as their business starts to lose money and customers. How remains to be seen, but that’s not the point.

The point is, as I’ve highlighted before, that SJWs cannot and will not be pleased. What Starbucks corporate essentially did is hand their business over to the SJW mob, who will in turn dictate how the company proceeds forward in the future. The demands for making everyone who comes to Starbucks feel welcome may start out small, but rest assured it will get more absurd over time. They will create positions within the company that will help them “move forward” in a more “progressive” direction in an attempt to placate the mob.

Rest assured, placation will never happen. There is no such thing as a pleased SJW. They need to be victims, and Starbucks just told them they were victims, and victims at their own hands no less.
