CNN Guest: All People Who Voted for Trump are RACIST

Ahhh, more enlightment from CNN.

On Wednesday’s New Day, writer Michaela Angela Davis told co-hosts John Berman and Alisyn Camerota that all Trump supporters are racist.

The segment began with a question from Berman:

“The argument that some people are making, that Roseanne Barr maybe felt empowered to talk like this because of President Trump….I mean, look, she’s got a history of saying things like this completely on her own that have gone back before this administration. How do you counter that with the ‘rapid-ish’ response from ABC?”

“Well,” Davis replied, “they made a connection together….when Trump…touted her ratings, almost took credit for them.” The President and the comedian “made their relationship clear,” Davis explained.

Furthermore, Davis asserted Trump “made it more popular…to be openly racist.”

Being openly racist is popular?

She continued:

“I think it’s important that we don’t make Trump seem this untouchable thing, you know, that no one gets to be Trump but Trump. Tens of millions of people voted for him after he showed his cards for years.”

As a reminder of what his “cards” were, for years:

Donald Trump was loved by the media. He was the go-to reference for rappers as someone they aspired to be like. He was the mentor of Russell Simmons, mogul of an empire focused on black culture. He was welcomed on television, a well-liked Democrat.

Somehow, when he added an “R” to his name, he suddenly became a villain, who was and always had been purely evil.

Here are some examples of rappers praising Trump (beware the language):

Berman attempted clarification from Davis:

“But are you suggesting that [the voters are] racist?”

Her answer:

“Absolutely, yes.”

“But are you suggesting that they’re racist?” he asked again.

“Yes.”

Davis conceded that “they may not all be violently racist,” but that Trump’s “anti-blackness” “has been the foundation” of his existence in the political sphere.

Well, at least that’s good — if there’s one thing worse than half a nation full of racists, it’s half a nation full of violent racists.

Meanwhile, Davis doesn’t seem to mind violence when it’s coming from the other side: in September 2016, she defended violent Black Lives Matters protestors, calling their antics “burning down the plantation.”
