Let’s Step Back: Steve Bannon, Mitch McConnell Harassed by Agitated Leftists

I want to hold the line through these lean times, and strengthen our Movement’s core in an atmosphere that doesn’t require a shield-wall and combat helmets just to protect everyone from feces balloons, cinder block pieces, and acid.

I want to be able to bring my wife and children to events without the risk of them running into groups of “activists” who likely have HIV viral loads higher than the average citizen of the Congo.

And I want to make the Cuckservatives realize (if it’s at all possible) that their #MAGA agenda will eventually be halted by a Commie’s brick or crowbar.

Black Swan Books in Richmond bills itself as a quaint, welcoming place – “where old books meet new friends!” – the type of local establishment where the most exciting thing to happen on any given day might be the acquisition of a rare hardcover.

On Saturday afternoon, however, the independent bookstore in Virginia’s capital became the next stop in the roving battle over civility in politics, after a customer spotted former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon inside and confronted him.

Nick Cooke, the owner of Black Swan Books, told the Richmond Times-Dispatch that a woman in his store began verbally accosting Bannon when she saw him, including calling the former Trump adviser “a piece of trash.” It was shortly afterward that Cooke decided to call police, he said.

“Steve Bannon was simply standing, looking at books, minding his own business,” Cooke told the newspaper. “I asked [the woman confronting Bannon] to leave, and she wouldn’t. And I said, ‘I’m going to call the police if you don’t,’ and I went to call the police and she left. And that’s the end of the story.”

Online, people described the incident as “the opposite of the Red Hen,” referring to a June 22 incident in which White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked to leave a small restaurant in Lexington, Va., because of the restaurant owner and staff’s opposition to Trump and his policies. Soon, the restaurant and other establishments across the country also named the Red Hen were receiving hateful messages and even death threats.

On Saturday, the reaction to Black Swan Books was swift. Several vowed to boycott the bookstore; one woman accused the owner of “[turning] the store into a safe space for white nationalists.”

Philippe Reines, formerly a top aide in Hillary Clinton’s campaign, tweeted out contact information for the bookstore on Sunday afternoon, leading to criticism that he was encouraging people to bombard the store.

Evidence seems to indicate that Seven Hills Antifa helped to organize the confrontation with Bannon.

But it’s still nowhere as funny as what the Yellow-Fever-infected Mitch McConnell had to endure when coming out of a restaurant.

A group of protesters confronted Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Bardstown Road in Louisville Saturday, calling out “Abolish ICE,” before adding they know where he lives.

McConnell was out to lunch with Kentucky’s outgoing House Majority Floor Leader Jonathan Shell, who was upset in his May primary. Shell confirmed the two had lunch, calling the protesters “a small group of extremists.”

The interaction was captured on video and shared with Courier Journal.

In it, someone asks McConnell, “Where are the children? Where are the babies, Mitch?” — an apparent reference to the separation of children from families at the southern U.S. border.

“What are you doing to get the babies back?” someone asks in the clip.

McConnell, wearing a green shirt tucked into blue jeans, isn’t shown reacting or responding to the protesters. He walks past a sign for Bristol Bar & Grille, turns a corner and gets into a vehicle.

Before he gets into the car, someone can be heard saying, “We know where you live.”

So in the last year, my opinion on directly engaging Antifa and other related groups has changed from one of aggression, to one that just wants to ignore these rabid unwashed (literally) animals.

It might sound like we’re going soft, but any argument you can make in defense of open warfare is going to be weaker than the one I’m going to push.

Because you see, we’re now in the midst of a time period that is going to see many lulled to sleep so long as nothing extraordinary or insane erupts – Trump is the President, the GOP seems to be holding its own thanks to idiotic Democratic decisions, and even the 2020 Race seems to be calm due to nobody on the Left being a solid candidate for the Democrat nomination.

War has not come to Syria and/or Iran (yet), and the economy is currently quite stable (there are some dark clouds on the horizon, but very few are paying attention at this point).

Due to these reasons and the nature of the garden-variety American, we’re not going to see massive upheavals and growth for a time, and any sort of dramatic street battle with the Left is only going to serve as a deterrent for those who may be finally making the transition to a Nationalist frame of mind.

These fights have also only done us great harm, with frivolous lawsuits, media censorship, and criminal charges springing up like weeds whenever we wind up in a giant national spectacle with our Communist enemies.

We can, and must, still meet and gather (and engage in public activism), but should do so in ways that negate any influence the Left may have.

Let them instead tear into Establishment and MAGApede rallies, and let them assault the likes of Mitch McConnell rather than us.

And who knows?

Maybe these confrontations, when combined with the infighting Antifa is famous for, will be enough to seriously weaken them before the battles that almost certainly lie ahead.
