Cornish people will not be given a tickbox on 2021 census

 The publication of “Help Shape Our Future: The 2021 Census of Population and Housing in England and Wales” has revealed that Cornish people will not be awarded a tick box on the 2021 census, as the need is only localised in Cornwall. Only 14% of people in Cornwall identified as Cornish, the rest being given tickets here so that they wouldn’t be seen sleeping in posher town centres, or they have money and like to live by the sea. So far the UK Government has managed to perform an amazing zero of the reccomendations advised by the Council Of Europe to comply with the FCNM and has largely managed to avoid doing anything in Cornwall at all. Since the publication theres been a number of people commenting on how they won’t fill out their census, which although may be illegal one can wonder if its as illegal as the treatment of folk not being given the chances of other folks purely because of where they live.
