Get Ready: Dems Collude for the Greatest Expansion of Government in Decades (Plus: Kermit!)

Then you may be in luck!!!!

Democrats are poised to give you the potion you need!

More than 40 of the congressional Left are glomming onto the Green New Deal.

According the the Dems, Kermit the Frog was wrong: in actuality, it’s easy being green.

But economic reality sings a different tune.

As stated by not-known-for-her-good-ideas Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (here), her good idea will accomplish economic “justice”:

“We can use the transition to 100 percent [renewable] energy as the vehicle to truly deliver and establish economic, social, and racial justice in the United States of America.”

It gets better:

“This is going to be the Great Society, the moonshot, the civil-rights movement of our generation. This is the mechanism through which we can really deliver justice to communities that have been underserved.”

And justice is especially needed, for everyone but Whitey:

“We have injustices in this country. Those injustices are concentrated in front-line communities and indigenous, black, and brown communities. They’re the ones that experience the greatest depths of this injustice.”

Among other words, Alexandria (whose favorite system, socialism, is going great in Venezuela — see here) should look up the term “indigenous.” Like all groups living in the U.S., the American Indians migrated from another place — in their case, Asia — via the Bering Strait (here).

The 29-year-old wants Americans to migrate from their paychecks: As per a study 2010 study by the Heritage Foundation, the price of a total transition to renewable energy would be around $5.2 trillion.

In addition, universal health care — also part of the Deal — could add trillions to that bill. But Bernie’s all about it. His “Medicare for All” could take $32.6 trillion.

As pointed out by The Daily Caller, by comparison — and adjusted for inflation — FDR’s New Deal cost $500 billion. 60’s era Great Society policies ate up $22 trillion. Move over, bacon; now there’s something meatier.

So sit back, and get ready for quite a deal. A new one. A green one. Green, for the color you’ll be seeing less of.
