Arkansas' Special Session 2023 - Let's Repeal the New Crypto Mining Law!

The Arkansas Special Session begins this next week, starting Monday, September 11, 2023, with many scary issues of concern still hanging out there that BEGS to be addressed! See Secure Arkansas’ last article.

One of those issues is the Arkansas Data Centers Act, known as Act 851 (HB1799) that was hurriedly, fraudulently pushed through and signed into law during the final days of this last 2023 legislative session. It’s that new, cunningly created and sinisterly titled “ARKANSAS DATA CENTERS ACT of 2023″.

Arkansas legislators, is Senator King’s repeal of HB1799 on the call for the special session next week? If not, why? This repeal bill needs to be introduced at this session now, PLEASE!

Do NOT dismiss this problematic issue because the backlash from bringing in this fraudulent bill has only just begun to surface from this newly created Data Centers Act of 2023.

There’s still a lot of explaining that NEEDS to be done regarding what happened this last legislative session, legislators… and Arkansans are NOT willing to be stuck with the unintended consequences of the mess YOU made when dealing with these hazardous crypto mining facilities coming into our communities, wreaking havoc on property owners that live around them! You know the harmful noise that crypto facilities emit, and it will plunge the price of real estate assets located near them. Our land should NEVER fall into the hands of the CCP or their operatives! January 12, 2023, Texas U.S. Representative Chip Roy said this: “There is no reason we should allow one of our greatest adversaries — the Chinese Communist Party – to buy up land in the United States. If the Soviet Union had been doing this in the [’80s], we’d have recognized the threat. China is not our friend; they want to dominate us and destroy our way of life; we need to wake up and start acting like it.”

Moreover, you all know who some of these communist Chinese players are, and you have already rightly named them ‘bad actors’. This has created a lot of chaos in our peaceful and lovely state.

We also want to put this information out there in order to alert the public because guns are used at the crypto sites. (An AR-15 was one in-particular rifle. Don’t automatic weapons have to be registered with the federal government if they are fully automatic?) The armed guards used guns at the Bono site in Faulker County and have been drawn on good people, needlessly. One young person was shot at, a state legislator had a rifle pointed at him, and there have been other reports of armed guards around the facility there. Reports have been logged with the Sheriff and the state police.

The National Firearms Act of 1934 (NFA) requires the registration, with the federal government, of fully-automatic firearms (termed “machine-guns”), rifles and shotguns that have an overall length under 26 inches, rifles with a barrel under 16 inches, shotguns with a barrel under 18 inches, and firearm sound suppressors (termed “silencers”).

Even though a noise ordinance was recently passed, it’s NOT enforced, just like we said it wouldn’t be. Our Justices of the Peace must step up and also deal with this tragic boondoggle.

The communist Chinese have had the noise up to over 80 decibels, and the sheriff’s excuse for not coming out to deal with this noise issue is because he’s afraid they will get sued because of that discrimination clause in HB1799. So, they won’t arrest the Chinese violators or even fine them for abusing the decibels — even AFTER the noise ordinance was passed! This IS a form of violence.

Many cities and towns, especially rural communities, have fallen victim to this crypto mining crisis, plundering and harming our natural resources and all of the consequences that follow!

Sound is measured in decibels, and when the bitcoin mine was operating at full capacity 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the Tiverons routinely recorded noise from the facility at 70 decibels or higher. “Noise above 70 dB [decibels] over a prolonged period of time may start to damage your hearing,” according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Gladys Anderson of Faulkner County says that she has recorded over 80 decibels coming from the Bono bitcoin facility near her home many times. She is also dealing with a young son who is autistic and living in the home.

Also: are the communist Chinese, that are probably military trained, listening in on private telephone calls after hooking up to the power at the Bono site? Many people think they are doing just that!

When a reporter went to visit Gladys Anderson’s house to check out what was going on there, the scheming communist Chinese completely shutdown the horrific sound of the decibels, AFTER a call was made to Gladys’ house stating they would be there in ten minutes. Think about the timing of the complete shutdown from the Bono facility…

Yizheng Wang, known as Ethan Wang (this is an Americanized name, not his real name) has been caught trespassing, armed with a gun, on Gladys Anderson’s private property. Gladys had many other people witness this, too. This is threatening and wrong! This particular time should be on record at the Sheriff’s Department because it was called in there! Tim Ryals is the Sheriff.

How would YOU feel if this was done to YOUR family?

Gladys is clearly a victim, not just of threats from the intimidating communist Chinese, but now also of neglect from our own Arkansas State Legislature… those who are elected and tasked with the duty to help represent the health and welfare of the people of Arkansas!

Surely, the legislature doesn’t expect the public to have to deal with these ruthless people and the violent bullying behavior, do you? Well… do you?

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Arkansas State Legislature… act responsibly and deal with this issue. It’s your sworn duty as an elected official! Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, you too! Avoiding this serious issue is not the answer.

Lawsuits are flying and in the works now, with more to come, because of this deceptive and fraudulent bill that escaped through the proper legislative process…

Lawmakers, you can help stop the harassment of our Arkansas communities, if you will repeal HB1799/Act 851. Things are getting complicated if you don’t act now.

The people in the city of Harrison and the Bono community are asking for relief of these falsely labelled “data centers” which turned out to be abusive communist Chinese crypto mining centers.

Side note: If you have a crypto mining facility around you, make sure your property has “No Trespassing” signs carefully placed around YOUR property!

If HB1799/Act 851 gets repealed, and if there is a lawsuit brewing in the Harrison area from this malevolent company called Newrays One, LLC/ Green Digital/ Metahash Global, won’t Ethan Wang have to halt or at least alter his notice of removal from state court to federal court that was filed July 24, 2023?

Then, on July 28, 2023, Stephen Giles, lead attorney for Newrays One, LLC sent a pre- litigation discovery FOIA request to the city of Harrison regarding Cryptocurrency Data Centers doing or proposing to do business in Harrison.

We, the people, do NOT want and will NOT accept the communist Chinese operatives to be left in place to operate freely in our hard-working communities here in Arkansas, let alone hooking up their suspicious crypto sites to our substations that is known to run up our electricity rates! This is simply too risky for the general public and, frankly, does NOT show good judgement, either.

Warning! September 6, 2023, The Gatestone Institute International Policy Council just released this:

• Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader Xi Jinping is rapidly militarizing his country and has instructed its army to “prepare for war” and “fight and win” it.

• “Chinese ruler Xi Jinping replaced the senior leadership of China’s Rocket Force, which is responsible for almost all of China’s 400 or so nuclear warheads. These personnel changes are part of what is almost certainly the most ominous development of this time. It looks like Xi is contemplating using or at least threatening to use his most destructive weapons. In other words, China is planning to go to war.” — Gordon Chang, China expert, Newsweek, August 14, 2023.

• Xi is doubtless weighing the risk-reward ratio of launching an aggressive operation against Taiwan during US President Joe Biden’s term of office. Xi is doubtless aware that his “window of opportunity” may be closing in 18 months, accompanied by a felicitously distracting US presidential election.

Our state legislators need to VOTE yes or no on taking up this repeal bill quickly!

We contacted Senator King for a statement, and this is what he said: “The sponsors misled the legislature and the people on comparing crypto mining to data centers. Clearly, they are NOT the same. That’s why I introduced my repeal bill.”

Senator King, we thank you for bringing this much-needed piece of legislation to the forefront. It took a lot of courage to address this situation.

Clearly, we know that HB1799 misled the busy state legislators trying to bring the 2023 session to a close during its final days.

Attention Legislators: In this revealing video, here is Arkansas Senator Bryan King questioning Hugh McDonald, Arkansas Secretary of the Department of Commerce, and McDonald says, “crypto miners and data centers are very different”. The sponsors misled people with words in the bill HB1799 comparing them to data centers.

Readers, we desperately NEED to put pressure on our state legislators and our governor… and keep it there. Don’t let them ignore this issue any longer.

We MUST heavily insist that Senator King’s repeal bill be introduced into session next week, AND we need this voted on AND passed while all the legislators are convened.

Readers, we are duty-bound today! This is a door of opportunity that is opening now, so timing is perfect! Don’t let this door slam shut on us because there will NOT be a better time than right now to contact our state legislators and governor.

It’s vitally important to do something immediately, dear readers. This could likely be our ONLY opportunity to act to protect ourselves and other state residents from the dangerous crypto facilities.

China’s threat to the United States has always been multi-dimensional… and due to the communist Chinese spy balloon and land purchases near military bases, China has gained a greater knowledge of our U.S. military sites! We can expect China to militarize our U.S. farmland and sabotage our water supply and electrical grid, as well as highways, bridges, ports, and even our airports, too. Oh, and those international “agreements” mean nothing to the CCP! That would be like expecting criminals to obey the law. It’s not going to happen. Their campaign of intimidation has only just begun. Don’t you think that it’s time we stopped acting like a bunch of fools?
