After decades of being confronted with mysterious terrorists from around the world, and being forced to endure invasive searches at airports, and cameras on the streets, a new poll  finds that, for the first time since 9/11, Americans are now more worried about civil liberties abuses from their own government than terrorism

What a suprise. Militarized police forces turn the nation’s streets in to war zones, as the surveillance state grows beyond control. The saga of Wikileaks and Bradley Manning continue to show Americans just how much they have been spied on, surveilled, and observed by  bureaucrats and national security.
 
By now Americans are cynical, suspicious and angry.

Numerous polls taken since our reporting on previously secret NSA activities first began have strongly suggestedmajor public opinion shifts in how NSA surveillance and privacy are viewed. But a new comprehensive pollreleased over the weekend weekend by Pew Research provides the most compelling evidence yet of how stark the shift is. MOREHERE

Instead of targeting a few “outcast” groups, such as civil rights activists, ethnic minorities, or extremists, the nation’s national security apparatus is swinging its axe widely. In essence, our government is turning traditional government supporters against.

Is our government trying to instigate an insurrection? Is the plan to create so many constitutional and human right abuses that people rise up in protest?  Some peoplel think so, and not all of them are extreme lefties or right wing conspiracy buffs. They believe certain forces are instigating a civil war in the United States.

 

A civil war, to be instigated by the USG [US government], is necessary to quickly involve and downsize armed populations and destroy police units that might, in the end, still be loyal to America. A civil war is necessary because American active military troops might be unwilling to attack and kill Americans, except, if necessary to “restore peace” (a deception). A civil war is necessary to demoralize and turn Americans against any further violence that will be required to preserve the right to self defense and inevitably the right to life.  MOREHERE
