The American PEOPLE need to change!

I know I will be touching some raw nerves but I’ll cut right to the chase – a government is the reflection of it’s people.

Although the degree of reflection can vary, it still holds very much true, in as much as the will of people allow.

In the case of the USA, lets look at how true this is.

The american attitude towards “losers” and “bums” is an attitude of “haves” and “have nots,” which incidentally is the exact same attitude of the power elite towards civilians. Instead of altruism and a desire to help the unfortunate, pride and greed rule instead. This is MINE, that is MINE, I worked for it, I was lucky, I am better than you – these are the words of the EGO. Lots of people work hard and smart – but do not find success. Those born in unfortunate and often honest hard-working families are disadvantaged from birth – like peasants vs kings.

In the case of health care, the general attitude is a person should go without if they don’t have the right job or enough paper stuff to “deserve” it. The value of human life itself takes second position to value in paper notes, even if it means death. Again, this disregard for human life over the value of money is another characteristic of the power elite.

In the case of war, many americans have no quarms with overkill if they feel the enemy deserves it, even if they are completely ignorant of the facts. “God Bless America” is gleefully cheered at the slaughter of civilians in the middle east.  “Better that innocent children die there than here” is often heard, and coldly accepted.

In the case of power, many americans feel that being a superpower means being a justified bully, and that nothing resembling the biblical saying “do unto others as they do unto you” applies to them. Another attitude of the power elite.

Fear is seen as bravery, in the case of the war on terror. To be brave would be peacfully defiant in defending your freedom and the spirit of the American way, instead you allow demons to run amok taking away your rights and expanding a police war state – all because you are so afraid of being a one in a million statistic.

Not all countries have these attitudes and actually work very well. It’s not a matter of capitalism or socialism etc, but a matter of corruption – of the psyche of the people and the ones in power to take advantage of it.

In many countries, free health care is not a burden because the services and products are not horribly overcharged. People don’t mind paying a levy or tax towards health care when they are employed, because the attitude is that health services should not be denied to any human being based on their class or other advantages, and is seen as a basic function of government, without which the government would be seen as being pointless without it. In contrast, Americans are fiercely opposed to their tax going to help someone else, yet don’t mind it going towards killing someone else.

In many countries, the unemployed are helped enough to be kept off the streets, and if they are willing, they are helped to regain success in their lives. In the case of people chosing to homeless, then society has a right to call them a “bum.”

The idea of working towards success and keeping the fruits of labour is commendable, but the basic value of human life should be the most precious thing in existence, because it is the most precious thing in existence.

You may be the victim of brainwashing, of social conditioning – but now that you are awakening, it is your duty to begin change within yourself, if you expect the world to change around you.
