What is the Illuminati? The Illuminati refers to a cabal of several secret societies whose main goal is world domination through mind control and financial power. Many conspiracies have suggested that through Illuminati influence, either the Antichrist, the New World Order, or both, will arise. The Illuminati’s reach is theorized to be so all-encompassing and is ubiquitous, they’ve been referred to simply as “They”. But the history and facts of what the Illuminati is has been shrouded in the same level of secrecy that the modern Illuminati maintains within the Shadow Government.

What Is The Illuminati?

Historically, the Illuminati referred to an Enlightenment-era secret society known as the Order of the Illuminati. The society, its name meaning “illuminated ones”, was created on May 1st, 1776 as a loose off shoot of the Freemason. As certain rumors have it, these Illuminati members were able infiltrate the Freemason lodges and pattern their secret gestures. The Illuminati was created by the Bavarian Jesuit-taught professor Adam Weishaupt, who enlisted the membership of freethinkers and intellectuals. Keeping in step with the values of the Enlightenment Age, members were opposed to religious superstition and dogma. Similar to the Freemason, Illuminati members pledged a vow of secrecy from having their hidden knowledge revealed.

As an Enlightenment-era movement, the Illuminati’s goals included, but were not limited to:

• a dissolution of independent nation states,
• ending abuse powers of the state,
• eliminating the churches control over government.
•  

In this respect, the Bavarian Illuminati and America’s goals were aligned in some extent. Many influential persons in Europe, including some from America, were Illuminati members.

Secret societies in Bavaria were infiltrated and suppressed in 1777 and the Order of the Illuminati was official dismembered in 1785. Weishaupt fled, leaving behind documents which were seized and published by the Bavarian government in 1787. However, conspiracy theorists believed that the Illuminati had later regrouped, as being the supposed real reason behind the French Revolution and the Reign of Terror.

Today, many conspiracy theorist believe that the Bavarian Illuminati survived suppression and infiltrated into top governments of America and Europe. Is this the same Illuminati that survived underground all these year? Or are they a new incarnation?

As an offshoot of the the Enlightenment-era society, the modern day Illuminati is theorized to be preoccupied with the scientific. Their goals are establishing a New World Order to institute a technocratic society based on the scientific laws of reason.

The modern day Illuminati, as opposed to the Bavarian Illuminati, is said to control world affairs from behind the scenes. Such events are the sharp divide between capitalism and communism in order to play the world off of each other. What we see in the world today as a struggle between good or evil and left or right is a lie. It’s been nothing more than a global distraction to keep our attention off of the real masterminds.

Certain organizations, such as the Bilderberg Group, the Trilateral Commission, Council on Foreign Relations, the Federal Reserves, Skull & Bones and the Bohemian Club have all been suspected of keeping the Illuminati tradition alive. Plus, they have the power, money and influence necessary to consolidated control over governments and the media.

The ultimate goal fall into two camps: a New World Order or the ushering in of the Antichrist.

If by the New World Order, the global elite’s plans are in the works. Due to the increase of globalization, the world has become smaller. During the Cold War, two superpowers fought for global supremacy. If it were true that the powerful elite played each one off the other as a game, it was no contest. Capitalism generated the funds necessary to maintain a functional society. Bankers and corporations won that battle. And today, they exist as having an unparalleled and self-invested influence over foreign policy. The goal is to subject the world through a one-world authoritarian government, where political power would be consolidated through the economy. Independent nation states would be abolished, in order to control the finances around the world. More consumers, more customers throughout the global sphere of control.

If the Antichrist, people are already receptive. Everyone loves heroes. Our politicians, during election season and shortly after, on both the left and the right, are regarded as superstars by their followers. Our society has been trained into looking up to someone, rather than looking inward towards oneself and fulfilling their potential. We are looking for a leader. What if a puppet was created out of whole cloth to be a shepherd? Similar to a benevolent dictator who’s cult of personality was maintained by all-encompassing propaganda. This one-world government would be instituted through a loveable, messiah-like leader. Religion would be abolished, in order to maintain the illusion that the leader is the savior.

A combination of both would be devastating. Yet, the question remains:
