It’s really quite simple; you can make him effective by responding, or you can make him ineffective by ignoring.
1) Don’t read the post of a known distractor. Why lower yourself to his level?
2) Never respond directly to a distractor. Any response makes him a winner and you a loser.
3) Never respond directly to the content of a distractor’s post (for those that didn’t follow rule 1).
4) Intelligent people should not have to be told by you who the distractors are.
5) Avoid any reference to a distractor, otherwise refer to him in the third person.
6) Your post should not state the obvious, which only the brain dead and the distractors don’t already know.
