Vatic Note: Basically, what Bobby Knight responds to the question, fits what I have been saying about Trump and why I don’t believe he is part of the cabal. WWII Veteran named Forrest asked Bobby and Trump an important question.
“As an Indiana University graduate and World War II vet, I have a tremendous respect for ‘the General,’ Bobby Knight,” began the veteran.
“Mr. Trump, how would you compare your successful career and philosophy with Coach Knight?” Forrest asked.
“I just love his philosophy. … Bobby was, you know, in his field, a tremendous leader and what he’s done is phenomenal,” Trump said. “So I’d like to put myself in a category even close to Bobby as far as that. You talk about the word leadership, that’s leadership.”
Knight then told the veteran that he and Trump are “a little bit alike in that regard.”
“If we’re involved in something where we want to win, and particularly something that’s necessary, if there’s something out there where we need to win, we’re going to try and beat your a– every time we can,” he said. The crowd went crazy.
