Survivalist are hard at work putting together as many of the supplies and tools needed for survival as they can. Being prepared for the complete collapse of society is the goal that most are seeking. Everything from matches to food and water is being stored away in preparation. The truth is that should society collapse, then having everything that one needs for independent living will increase the chance of survival.

One of the most difficult supplies to store away is medication as in many cases, a prescription is require. Some resourceful individuals have realized that some medications are available for animals and can be bought at places such as pet stores. However, these medications may not be exactly what is needed.

It is often a wise choice to collect and store alternatives when available. While not as powerful as many medications, some of these may be extremely helpful in a serious situation, possibly making the difference between life and death. For example, both colloidal silver and Lugol’s Iodine can be powerful antibiotics when properly applied. There are a number of other things that may be helpful such as oil of oregano, hydrogen peroxide, and ethyl alcohol.

There is, however, a tool that many survivalist are not aware of.

There is a compact electronic device that has the ability to destroy at least some microbes such as bacteria, protozoa, and fungi. Advanced versions are even more powerful and can destroy almost all microbes in a bucket full of water, making it safer to drink. However, it does not end there.

Since these devices are so good at destroying microbes in water, and the body is mostly water, it is not so difficult to see the potentials. A good number of people have tried the basic cheap units with varying degrees of success in trying to fight diseases. The problems with these lesser units is that they only produced 1,2, or 3 frequencies and were not very accurate. The lack of accuracy meant that they would work sometimes and not others.

For the survival kit, items are needed that are at least reasonably reliable and this means that multiple frequencies and good accuracy are important. Shop around to get the best ones. You will not find them in stores and even some search engines such as Google will try to keep you from finding the good ones.

The best to look for is units that have better than 99 percent accuracy, and the very best will  specify 99.9 percent or more. Some of the cheaper units are only 80 percent accurate having a 20 percent error.

While these better units are not medical devices, they do have a real ability to destroy germs and therefore, may make a significant difference in survival.
