New book laments falling standards of higher education in America

Joel Warren Lidz is a writer and former professor. He holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in philosophy and social science from the Pennsylvania State University and a doctorate in philosophy from Tulane University. Lidz taught philosophy in the Boston area for 25 years and has published in scholarly journals. He also studied classical Greek and pipe organ at Harvard.
