According to the US Department of Education, over 3.4 million students will graduate in America in 2013, yet a staggering 37% of Generation Y remain unemployed or underemployed. Overall unemployment in America is considered high at 7.8%, but in other countries like Spain, it’s above 20%. Most affected by these events are the recent college graduates who can take up to 12 months before finding a job or finding the right job depending on the field. The solution to this global dilemma is to use the technology young professionals are familiar with and create a community, a network, that empowers them to help themselves.

With hundreds of niche social networks on the market today, the top 10, including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, controlling over 70% of the social media market share. Facebook serves students and young professionals by establishing a familial community for every stage of life. LinkedIn provides a database of contacts and a list of jobs that can take an experienced professional to the next level. No other social network provides a community for the recent graduate to learn, understand and develop in the workforce during the first stages of their professional careers.

YoPro currently offers open early enrollment to young professionals across the world until March 2013.
