A native of Quebec, Dr. Fremeth grew up on a farm in the Laurentian Mountains; this instilled in him the dedication and work ethic to become the successful dentist. After earning his Bachelor of Science (Honours) in biology from Sir George Williams University in 1970, Dr. Fremeth continued his education by completing a Master of Science in Ecology from the same university. In 1977, Dr. Fremeth graduated with his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at McGill University, a university ranked first in Canada among medical-doctoral universities. Upon completion, Dr. Fremeth entered an intense hospital based residency in dentistry at Montreal’s Jewish General Hospital.
