A Royal Summons for an American Company Specializing in Moving Containers

An American businessman who owns and operates a company that specializes in moving containers got a surprise of a lifetime. This week when George Hampton was opening his business mail, he noticed something different – a gold trimmed envelope.

“I really did not think much of it”, said Hampton, who still seemed in shock at the time of the interview. “I get scam mail all the time at the business. I thought this was something like that, but it was not. I never would have thought it was what it was.”

The envelope came from a remote country that has been under sovereign rule for the past ten decades. The envelope came with a royal summons to help the king and his family move into their newly built royal palace.

“I had no idea why I was receiving this summons”, explained Hampton. “I didn’t even know where this place was on a map, but lo and behold I am getting summons to help them move all their worldly possessions. It is very surreal and a bit odd, if I do say so myself.”

It appears as if the king, who is Harold VIII, had heard about Hampton’s business while traveling to America two years ago. He kept it in mind, as he was planning to build his new palace.

“We want nothing but the best for His Majesty and his family”, explained a spokesperson for the royal family. “His Majesty insisted upon hiring Mr. Hampton. He has heard nothing but good things about the moving containers this man uses and they wanted nothing, but the best. They will get it.”

Hampton uses a very rare, one of a kind, moving container setup. The containers are all lined with bubble wrap. This protects the belongings that are being moved.

“There has to be some extra layer of protection”, explained Hampton. “The bubble wrap adds a layer of cushioning that people could not get otherwise with other containers. It is my invention and no one has picked up on it.”

The royal family is planning on shipping Hampton and 20 of his moving containers to the remote country. This would provide enough moving supplies to move the entire castle to its new location.

“This is an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity”, explained Hampton. “I could not pass it up, plus I was summons. You cannot refuse a summons, can you? Either way, I will be one of the only American moving containers companies that can say I worked for royalty. No one else will be able to say that!”
