Steampunk for Beginners Mixed with New Project Management Training Online Course

Steampunk is a new genre that is taking the world by storm. People are obsessed with this mysterious world that is a mix of science fiction and history. Even with all the fascination, people are stilling finding it hard to accept or understand which is what has lead to the development of a new project management training online course.

“What we have done is completely revamp the old project management training course“, said Todd Hillsbourgh, the creator of the new course. “We have taken elements of the steampunk world and interwoven them with essential items from the project management course.”

It is believed this combination of courses will force students to learn not only the essential skills they need, but information and skills that will help them in the steampunk world. There are many skills, such as survival skills and technology repair skills that people will need to survive in a steampunk world.

“Our goal is to give people the skills they need to survive”, explained Hillsbourgh. “We believe that the era of steampunk is ahead. It is only a matter of time when technology far exceeds us, and leaves us to live in a historical era. Just like the steampunk movies and novels. We are providing valuable skills that could save lives.”

While these skills may be essential if a steampunk era ever hits, the essential nature of the course is not why people are signing up for it. Many students in the current class joined just to be able to say that they took part in a steampunk based online course.

“I signed up because I wanted to learn more about steampunk”, explained Katie Silverman, a student in the current project management training online course. “My work requires me to attend a refresher project management training course every three years. I was looking for a new course to attend so it wasn’t the same old, same old. That was when I found this course. It is….. interesting.”

Attendance at Hillsbourgh’s courses increased by 40%, this increase is attributed to the new course model.

“We were thinking of closing down, but thanks to this new steampunk based course, we can stay open”, explained Hillsbourgh. “We are actually in talks with other courses to add other steampunk elements. Think of all the skills and help we’d be giving people with these new courses. It will be amazing.”
