Rebecca is a skilled, passionate, and caring nurse who currently utilizes her knowledge of intensive care nursing and phlebotomy to serve patients at Mad River Community Hospital. A 78-bed, acute care medical facility, the Hospital is located in Arcata, California, in Humboldt County on California’s North Coast. Mad River Community Hospital is a locally owned and operated, independent hospital, devoted to delivering the highest level of quality care to patients by combining advanced technology with a deep commitment to the community and the people. As an intensive care nurse, Rebecca focuses on providing the utmost care to the critically ill or unstable patients. She is trained to work in a wide selection of healthcare settings and specialties, including intensive care units and emergency departments.

An inductee of the prestigious international honor society for nurses, Sigma Theta Tau, Rebecca obtained her RN and then her BSN degree in 2010 from Humboldt State University. She feels that her success as a nurse is attributable to her enduring commitment to patients, as well as to her ability to take care of all of their needs and offer them the best possible care.
