Angela is a seasoned, multifaceted registered nurse employing her skills and knowledge in pharmacy nursing to serve patients at Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital in WaKeeney, Kansas. The Hospital is a 25-bed critical access health care facility offering inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services. Under the same roof, the Hospital operates a Home Health Agency, as well as the Ellis Family Care Centers providing family-centered clinic services, a 37-bed long term care unit, and also a 6-bed assisted living complex. Angela is the Director of Pharmacy at Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital. Nursing in the practice of specialty pharmacy has become a highly specialized practice and entails many different responsibilities and a profound understanding of medicine and nursing. Prior to her current endeavors, Angela worked as Staff RN within the same hospital and also at Hays Medical Center.

Angela studied for her RN degree and also for her bachelor’s degree of science in nursing at Fort Hays State University. She graduated in 1991 and attributes her success as a nurse to being open to learning and also to her determination to help people get well.
