Brenda is a young and dynamic respiratory therapist working with patients that are struggling with breathing issues at the Hills & Dales General Hospital in Case City, Michigan. The Facility is a 25-bed critical access hospital offering a full-range of quality inpatient and outpatient health services close to home. Brenda is currently focusing on reading and staying up-to-date on the newest developments in her profession in order to become a better therapist. She feels that the more knowledge she can obtain, the more she can pass on to her co-workers and patients. Brenda is actively involved in a project that aims at starting a Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program within the facility she serves, which will ultimately benefit the patients as well as the hospital. Brenda became a Registered Respiratory Therapist in 2011 and her activity involves, apart from her professional duties, speaking and listening to patients and also educating them on their disease process or illness with the hope that they will better understand it. She is also a member of the Michigan Society for Respiratory Care and the American Association for Respiratory Care. Brenda attributes her success to hard work, motivation, great instructors, and family support.
