Dermatologist Melda Isaac, MD, to be Recognized as a 2015 Top Doctor in Washington DC

Melda Isaac, MD, founder and director of the MI-Skin Dermatology and Laser Center, has been named a 2015 Top Doctor in Washington DC. Dr. Isaac, a board certified dermatologist, specializes in both medical and cosmetic procedures. She obtained her medical degree from Penn State University and completed her dermatology training at George Washington University Hospital.

After her residency training, Dr. Isaac held academic appointments as Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Hahnemann University Hospital and the University of Pennsylvania Department of Dermatology in Philadelphia. She also held teaching appointments and served as a consultant at Washington Hospital Center and Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington DC before launching MI-Skin Dermatology Center.

Her expertise lies in evaluation and treatment of dermatologic conditions ranging from acne to sun damage and skin cancer. Dr. Isaac optimizes minimally invasive techniques for facial rejuvenation using state of the art lasers, radiofrequency, and ultrasound devices. She is an expert injector, using proven neurotoxins and dermal fillers. Dr. Isaac prescribes customized dermatologic therapies to fit the needs of each individual patient. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the Washington, DC Dermatologic Society.
