ZCorum to Showcase Cross-platform Diagnostics at NTCA’s Rural Telecom Meeting

ZCorum, a leading provider of managed broadband services and diagnostics, announced today that they will be demonstrating the cross-platform features in their TruVizion diagnostics application for attendees at the 2016 Rural Telecom Industry Meeting & EXPO (RTIME), February 21-24, in Lake Buena Vista, FL. Arthur Skinner, ZCorum’s Vice President of Worldwide Sales, says his company is serving a unique niche in diagnostics with their tool that supports DOCSIS, DSL and Fiber networks. “At the RTIME show we see a lot of operators who are tasked with managing multiple broadband networks. They will often have subscribers on both DSL and Fiber, and there are quite a few who are also supporting cable modem subscribers on a DOCSIS network. TruVizion gives them a powerful tool for troubleshooting subscriber and network issues in all three technologies within a single, easy-to-use interface.”

Skinner said he will also be promoting ZCorum’s solution for making the transition to IPv6 . “Now that ARIN is out of IPv4 address space, we expect more operators to be taking a serious look at how they’re going to handle IPv6 on their broadband networks. We have a Carrier Grade NAT solution that makes the most of the IPv4 addresses a provider has, while giving them the time and the technology for a seamless move to IPv6.” ARIN is the American Registry for Internet Numbers, and they announced in September of last year that their pool of IPv4 addresses was depleted.
