ZCorum to Demonstrate DOCSIS Diagnostics Solutions in Philippines during PCTA 2016
ZCorum, an industry leader in the deployment of diagnostics tools and software for broadband providers, announced they will demonstrate their diagnostics solutions for cable operators attending PCTA Expo 2016 in the Manila, Philippines. ZCorum will join Great Lakes Data Systems (GLDS) at the conference as the two companies demonstrate products at the Marriott Grand Ballroom Hotel.
ZCorum will showcase a range of diagnostic tools, with live demonstrations of TruVizion, ZCorum’s patented diagnostics software used by Cable, DSL, and FTTH broadband providers worldwide. TruVizion provides real-time and historical diagnostics information and reporting designed to help operators reduce costs, time to repair and field resources.
In addition to the demonstrations, ZCorum Vice President Arthur Skinner will be joining Kevin Kononchek, Manager of Business Development at GLDS for an operator workshop. During the session the pair will present information on cable billing and diagnostics and how integrating the two systems can provide peak operational performance for cable and broadband providers. Skinner bills the panel as a “conversation about how technology is changing the way providers allocate resources, resolve issues and plan for the future.” The session is scheduled for Friday, April 15 at 10 am Philippine Time.
On the exhibit floor ZCorum will also be demonstrating PreEqualization Analyzer , a proactive network maintenance (PNM) tool that shows where upstream impairments are in the plant before they impact subscribers. Booth visitors will also see demonstrations of ZCorum’s software-based spectrum analyzer tools Remote Spectrum and Upstream Analyzer that let operators view the downstream and return-path spectrum remotely, without the use of network probes or specialized test equipment.
