Leading Gastroenterologist Thomas Stickle, MD, to be Recognized as a 2016 Top Doctor in San Diego, California

Thomas Stickle, MD, gastroenterologist with the United States Navy, has been named a 2016 Top Doctor in San Diego, California. Dr. Thomas Stickle has been in practice for more than five years, and in that time has already become known for his enthusiasm and expertise. His medical career started in 2010, when he graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, having previously gained a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the United States Naval Academy.

Between 2010 and 2013, Dr. Stickle was first an intern and then resident in Internal Medicine with the United States Navy. From 2014 he has specialized in gastroenterology, undertaking a fellowship in this area, once again whilst serving with the United States Navy. In this capacity he diagnoses and treats a wide range of conditions relating to the liver and the gastrointestinal tract. These can range from irritable bowel syndrome to gallbladder pain, and bowel cancer.

Dr. Stickle also serves as the Internal Medicine Chief of Residents, supervising more than 38 staff, and organizing training sessions. He is noted for his calm and measured approach to both medicine and navy life, and this reputation for excellence makes Dr. Thomas Stickle a very worthy winner of a 2016 Top Doctor Award.
