Skilled Nurse Susan Nunez, RN, MSNEd, CMSRN, to Be Published in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

With an upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare, Susan Nunez, RN, MSNEd, CMSRN, joins the prestigious ranks of the International Nurses Association. She is a Registered Nurse with thirty-eight years of experience in her field and extensive expertise in various areas of nursing, including critical care, management in medical-surgical telemetry nursing, education, and academic medical-surgical nursing. Susan is currently serving patients as Clinical Educator in the educational department at the Methodist Hospital of Southern California in San Gabriel Valley.  For the past 15 years, Susan has been a clinical educator for the medical/surgical departments in the hospital environment.

Susan obtained her nursing degree at Los Angeles Harbor College in 1978 and her bachelor degree of science in nursing at the University of Phoenix in 1995. She also holds a master degree of science in nursing education acquired at the University of Phoenix in 2009. A Certified Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, Susan is also an inductee of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and board member of the Organization of Healthcare Educators, a member of the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses, and American Diabetes Association. She feels that she owes her success to her love of the profession and a variety of hospital offerings. In 2007, she was voted Employee of the Year by the Methodist Hospital of Southern California.

In 2015, she was published as a contributing author for the Core Curriculum for Medical Surgical Nursing.  She looks forward to future writing opportunities.
