NEW VISION EYE CENTER ANNOUNCES PLANS FOR ITS FIRST WORKSHOPS OF 2017

Dubai’s leading eye specialist New Vision Eye Center shares their vision for eye health in 2017 and calls on public for ideas on workshop topics.

With the dawn of the New Year, New Vision Eye Center has released its plans for the first few months in terms of workshops. Since its inception, the clinic has consistently organised and hosted a stream of workshops related to eye health for different audiences. Covering topics ranging from LASIK in Dubai, to cataract treatments and better nutrition, each of these workshops have seen a packed turnout in the past.

In 2017, the clinic hopes to continue this practice and introduce some new and interesting topics to the foray. Whilst the dates and venues of these workshops are yet to be announced, the question of what topics should be addressed has been posed to the public. In an attempt to get the community better involved with the process, the clinic has announced its decision to allow the public to send in their thoughts. Whether they want to bring up previously discussed topics such as LASIK treatment in Dubai or something newer the clinic is open to suggestions.

‘Over the years, we have has incredible attendance at our workshops. And naturally we are more than thrilled about it because it shows us that the people of Dubai genuinely care about the subject. They care about their eye health and want to see a difference. However, what I did not see which I would have liked to see more of, is participation. Though we do have a few enthusiastic participants who often share many interesting ideas, the majority of the crowd tends to sit back and watch. So after watching a few playbacks of the videos we took, we realised that perhaps if the audience was actively involved in the topic selection, we would see a better reaction. Which is why we are inviting our community to send us their pressing questions, topic suggestions and more; even if they are topics we might have touched on before such as LASIK eye surgery In Dubai.
