(Before It's News)

When I first had an idea of having an automated shop I was convinced it’s a pure sci-fi and my lifespan wouldn’t be enough to witness it. I don’t have to tell you how wrong I was, but still it was wrong to think that automated shop doesn’t involve you.
After having a solid practice in live sales I’ve decided to make business online thinking that once I’m done making my market site my job is done. I lost a lot in revenue trying to grab a piece of cake on amazon and e-bay, but the ground was simply not fit for my unexperienced approach. Nearly staying alive I had to quit not to go bankrupt and understood through hard lessons, that there might be another battlefield for a customer’s attention, another platform, and for me it became Google shopping.
And after I started using Google shopping I’ve discovered boundless realms for online sales.Instead of spending time on keyword research and crafting clever ads, Google Shopping does it all for you. You supply the detailed information about your product, then Google matches the right product with the right search query and creates the advertisement.

At the time I was starting there weren’t so much content about the topic, and Google Shopping didn’t occur to me to be relevant at the point I had. I wanted to run everything by myself, but didn’t quite understood what I was facing.
So here’s some tips that might help you on your start to Google Shopping.

That’s the best article on that topic, but in short, you are gonna have to get the most vague and detailed data about the item you’re selling, and if you incorrectly put some descriptions or miss some important keywords(or have unimportant keywords) you just won’t be able to be on top, which is close to a failure.

A lot depends on an e-commerce platform you’re using like Shopify, Shopping Cart Elite or Magento all have apps, plugins or extensions available to make the feed creation easier.

This saves a ton of time and effort a self-respecting businessman just cannot afford to go to waste.
Which tools to use will depend on your needs. The biggest difference between them is the support of product variations or the ability to create feeds for other platforms as well.
Most tools will also give you a good bit of help, this could be a good wizard during setup or a support team that sets your feed for you.

Most of the time this process will go rapidly, you just connect an app to your store and publish it to Google Merchant Center. The troubles start when you get a lot of red indications after running it through Google Merchant Center.
It’s essential to not let any of those red errors pass to the next point and take as much time as needed for fixing any existing quantity.

Then you’ll be able to finally set up a few Google Adwords campaigns. Using your feeds you need to pick, a budget and state the amount you want to pay per click, and your campaign is good to go. By default, all of your products have the same maximum cost per click (or CPC).
Play around with the options, and when you’re through the whole Google Shopping setup you’ll finally get some clicks and hopefully some sales.

And that’s when the real optimizing process comes to play. Just creating a campaign sometimes isn’t enough. Changes are the only constant, and don’t be afraid to make necessary improvements.
Optimizing is a complex subject, but here are some starters.

Look for irrelevant keywords and exclude those from your campaign.
- Check if your products are appearing for generic rather than product specific search queries.
- Improve product feed to make sure the most profitable products get the budget they need.
- Be as detailed as possible.

But only after finding out how to promote my seller ratings I truly started making money. And without a professional help, at least for me, it was impossible to succeed. Understanding universe might take eternity, but you don’t need to understand everything to be successful.
With the right amount of an effort, smart campaign planning, picking the right e-commerce platform and setting your feed Google Shopping will continue to be a great traffic source for those who do it right!

This method is really working!
