If one were to look at today’s society it would be rather easy to find a denier of the holocaust. We need to look no further than Iran and President Ahmadinejad. We could also visit myriads of Muslim nations and one would find others who deny the holocaust as well. Speaking to a crowd at Tehran University, Ahmadinejad said the Holocaust was a myth of Western Powers. It was this guy who was allowed to speak at the United Nations. It is this guy who our own President wants to sit down and chat with concerning their nuclear program and Israel. As if you could actually convince someone as this of anything at all, especially if he is vehement against the very ideas you want him to grasp

“They [western powers] launched the myth of the Holocaust,” he told a crowd at Tehran University. “They lied, they put on a show and then they support the Jews,” he said to chants of “Death to Israel” from supporters. “The pretext for establishing the Zionist regime is a lie … a lie which relies on an unreliable claim, a mythical claim, and the occupation of Palestine has nothing to do with the Holocaust.1″

I begin this Newsletter with the holocaust because of one important fact, it happened. I never, personally that is; want to forget what happened and how it happened. Now while I begin with this and will discuss this, it is important to note that I will be also directing your attention to America. In this case AMERIKA; spelled with a ‘K’ and not a c of which I write. My Grandfather, Great Grandfather, and Great-Great Grandfather were all 100% German. They were in this country before World War one, in fact our roots go back to the founding of this nation. It was during the First Great War, that our family changed its name, stopped using German language, and pushed themselves to be more American. All this was because of anti-German sentiment over the war. It was from my Grandfather that hatred of Jews was still there. For some reason, Germans hated the Jews; my lineage had that unmistakable mark in it. Along with Jews, they hated blacks.

Fortunately for me, my Dad moved away from his Father and thus our family was created, made, built, started, and lived away from the German type influences. Dad never did act or talk in any way I can remember of that would be called hate speak toward Jews or Blacks. I grew up without any knowledge of either group in my town. I knew absolutely no Jews or Blacks as a boy growing up. I never knew what a synagogue was either. It was not until the mid-sixties when I was in the service that I became aware of both Jews and blacks and of these groups; I had friends.
