What On Earth Is God Doing

Recently, I was teaching a small group of prophecy lovers when I made the statement that our amazing God revealed prophecies 2,000 to 2,700 years ago that we see coming on the scene today. A friend with a wonderful sense of humor was in the group and he replied, “Yes, it’s enough to make you think that God has the gift of foreknowledge.” Right! By fulfilling ancient prophecies recorded in the Bible, God is demonstrating His foreknowledge. He is proving that He truly knows the end from the beginning (Isa. 46:10). This ability to reveal what will happen before it happens is incomprehensible to all of us, but it is indisputable proof of His existence; and it is also a statement that He keeps His promises AND He carries out His warnings. Many like to believe His promises, but they prefer to ignore His warnings.
A possible economic collapse is another thing we talked about in the group. God clearly said, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me” (Ex. 20:3). He is God and He has a right to occupy first place in our lives. But, for far too long, Americans and Globalists have made an idol or a god out of their money. Again and again, the Jews set up worthless idols in Old Testament times and God always destroyed them. Our economic problems are really a reminder that God has not changed. He is still God. He doesn’t like to be ignored, replaced or forgotten. Unless we change quickly, He is going to make our money a worthless idol.
While I am on the subject, I was discussing this with a female friend in the group. She loves Bible prophecy and is a wonderful Sunday school teacher. She reminded me that many worship the god of pleasure and society won’t do anything about it. God may be about to take their money away so they can’t spend it on adultery, pornography, abortions, alcohol, drugs and the like. That is another sign of the end of the age. Paul said, “Men shall be lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God” (II Tim. 3:4). God is not against pleasure. He even wants us to make Him our greatest pleasure. But He may have to bring humankind to the point of not being able to afford some of these wrongful pleasures. Having to choose between the necessities of life and pleasure will be a reminder to us that He is still God.
While I was writing the above paragraph, it occurred to me that many in the environmental movement worship the god of nature. There is nothing wrong with nature. It was given by God. But nature is not god. And this may be why nature seems to be turning against us. We need to learn that nature can also be an enemy and when we die nature won’t be able to do anything for us. But the Creator of nature can. And He will if we have accepted His Son.
Eh . . . yes, life is interesting and God is doing a lot of things. People need to be paying attention. One way or another, we are going to learn that there is only one God.

Problem is that god only wrote the ten commandments that Moses brought down from the mountain. EVERYTHING else was written by Humans, not god.
I may not be that religious but I know at least this much about it.
It was written by humans, but God, Jesus and Angels told them and showed them things to write down. Do you think God would let someone write down lies in the Bible? Of course not. People who want to continue sinning and think they can make their own destiny will say and do anything to rationalize it. The Bible says that people will question and deny God and his plan. That’s what is happening now more than ever. You need to study the Bible carefully and go to a minister and/or a Bible study and ask questions. When I say minister I don’t mean Jehovah witnesses, Buddhists, Pentecostal Holiness or similar ones. I mean to a minister and Bible study that teaches the Bible word for word not their own interpertation of it.
Hey there… Nice article, just a couple of points… 1. You didn’t give God a capital G in one of the paragraphs, just a minor grammer error but it is the Lord after all. 2. People have been misled, I think on purpose by religious institutions about Sunday being the day of worship when in fact the bible clearly state’s that the day of worship is the Sabbath which is a Saturday and due to clock’s/time not being set up as it is now, the Sabbath would and should begin on Friday night and end on Saturday night with Sunday being the start of a new week. It was changed at some point by a defiant ruler, I forget who. The Bible clearly states the facts and Sunday is not mentioned anywhere in the bible as being the Sabbath. It would be great if you could enlighten people please in the name of the Lord! God bless us all as we certainly need it.
Correct on Sabbath. Also God’s calendar is lunar, and based upon the cycle of the moon, not the sun. Our current calendar is the fulfillment of prophesy where God said men would “change times and laws” – do away with Gods’ calendar, and move the sabbath to sunday.

Prophesy is not God looking into the future. Prophesy is God telling us what he is going to do. It’s as simple as that.
First and second commandment forbids eating in anyone other than in God’s name… Coca Cola, that’s an idol. God taught mankind to eat of his creation, not anti-christ pagan creation.
When referring to one of the gods – I do wish that the lower case “g” be used.
Only the Creator God (who also created the gods) should have an upper case “G”
and this one is even referred to by the gods as the Mind of the Universe!

People may not believe what I write but I am a doctor who was going on my business recacitating dead or dying children. Local priest described me as “Playing God” because I was the one who sold and decided not abandon resuscitation. This is not an easy job to do but I some one had to do this.
In 1989, I saw a health boy with infection die because the antibiotics did not kill the germs. Then I knew we are in trouble because this bug is all over the world and have lived on this planet for billions of years. Since then I have tried my best to help slow down the spread but failed because the device manufacturers and the people in power had lots to loose.
“God lives every where”, Hindus take a dip in ganges water saying they clense themselves, yes they do because the bad bacteria living on our body are killed by the bacteriophages living in Ganges water. The money crazy people have not spared this either and are trying to use this to develop new drugs (gangagen.com).
I think God is “Nature” and Sun is the ruler and so natural calamities, bacteria and viruses will clean the earth. People who are likely to banish are likely to be young and health. This earth cannot cope with the population nor can we stop this trend.
@ Anon. 10:25am — Agreed. God is not merely a seer of the future but is actually telling us what He is doing from beginning to end — in regards to all the events surrounding His accomplishment of our salvation through Jesus Christ. He warns us ahead of time to be aware of detractors and false teachers.
All the *signs* are the FYI for the believer to be aware that salvation and the end of the age are getting closer.
It’s also useful in pointing this all out to others who may be wondering what is going on.
The Law is merely a tutor for our behavior — the keeping of which does not accomplish our salvation. It was to be the standard of respect for God Himself and for our fellow human beings. Jesus raised and clarified the standard to Loving God with all our hearts and our fellow man as ourselves. This accomplishes all the Law.
The Sabbath is merely to remind us to take a day to rest as God did and remember to worship and honor Him on a regular basis. Making a fetish of a particular day is not the point.
Many people the world over wait for the intinerate preacher to get to their village in order to rest for the day and worship together. This is what freedom in Christ is all about
So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about their religion;respect others in their view, and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and its purpose in the service of your people. Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide.
Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger, when in a lonely place. Show respect to all people and grovel to none.
When you arise in the morning give thanks for the food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies only in yourself. Abuse no one and no thing, for abuse turns the wise ones to fools and robs the spirit of its vision.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.
Yes, God gave Moses the Ten Commandments, that Americans have discarded from the hall of gov’t and schools. The liberals win again. Do we want to vote for people who want God out or do we vote for people who want God in… It’s seems that Americans are voting for people who want God out and give our moral authority over to those who fight hard to keep him out. Isa. 66:1-3 can say that every house has a builder and in the infinity of time and space it was GOD’S Genius Intelligence that also built our house UFO fragile free energy Planet Earth.
Prophecy says that TRIBULATION must first end In order that we can see The Son Of Man coming to be seen from the invisble realms and a miracle will lead to end of TRIBULATION and co-existing peace in prophecy. Matthew 24:29-31, Revelation 17:11.

The only way to co-exist against a phony prophecy that is contradictory and evil is by co-existing in peace with logical pushes and seating in positive progressive and prospering futures because no one can live 50 days and 50 nights with out food and water and millions die every year because of bad programs.
