The Invisible World Of Holy Angels

Pastor Joseph Chambers ~ Paw Creek Ministries

THERE IS AN INNUMERABLE MUILTITUDE OF ANGELS ORGANIZED TO PERFECTION THAT SERVE OUR FATHER’S KINGDOM BOTH IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH. These angels are immensely powerful and cannot be killed or injured. They move at the speed of light and will be at service to any saint when directed by our Lord. Ezekiel described their likeness and speed of movement. “As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning. And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.” (Ezekiel 1:13-14) Breathtaking angels!

Jesus Christ is the “Lord of Sabaoth” or the “Lord of a Host of Angels.” “Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.” (James 5:4)Angels are not independent spirits that move or act on their own, but are at the command of Jesus Christ. They do what they are commissioned to do. We can not give them orders but must be surrendered under the Lordship of Christ and then He gives them orders. The multitudes of our world who refuse the life of surrender to Christ have no protection from the evil and dark side of the fallen angelic world.

Angels also move in the “wake of the Holy Ghost.” The angelic world is a world of spirits and the harmony between the spirit world is supernatural. The Holy Ghost honors no one but the Father and the Son and that is also true for angels. As the Holy Spirit manifests Himself, angels will be acting in perfect accord. “Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels. When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.” (Ezekiel 1:20-21) This is the perfect picture of the spirit world. Our Universe is filled with the angels of God that protect the Holiness of the Father and the Son.

It is easy to understand why there is so little Holy Ghost or angelic activity today. There can be no movement and the great demonstration of God’s mighty powers without the church world living in obedience. If you are rebellious and determined in your own will, then the Holy Ghost or the angels are watching and often wooing you, but not interrupting. You are at the devil’s mercy and He has no mercy.

Angels played a beautiful role in Christ’s first coming. From the announcement of His incarnation until He ascended back to the Father, angels appeared to have been given a kind of supervision and strengthening role to the Son of man. While it was the overshadowing power of the Holy Ghost that conceived Jesus in Mary’s womb, it was the angels’ business to make the announcement to her, to satisfy Joseph’s fear, and to even provide the name of Jesus to Joseph. Angels supervised the birth of John the Baptist and His role as the harbinger, or forerunner, of the Son of Man. When Jesus was in danger of being slain with all the children of Bethlehem, an angel appeared to Joseph to warn him to flee to Egypt with the young child.

It was angels that came to minister and strengthen Him after fasting forty days and nights and suffering an intense attack by the devil against Himself. “Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and minister unto him.” (Matthew 4:11) Jesus Himself testified to Phillip and Nathaniel that angels would regularly appear to Him during His ministry.“And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.” (John 1:51)

While the Scripture does not document this happening to any great frequency, there can be no doubt that it did. His disciples apparently witnessed it, but were so accustomed to believing in angels that most of these events were not recounted in their Gospels. Luke did recount his witnessing of an angel appearing in the Garden of Gethsemane. He stated,“And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.” (Luke 22:43) All four of the Gospel writers shared the appearance of angels at His tomb following His resurrection from the dead. John told this event as follows, “But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre, And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.” (John 21:11-13)

As Jesus concluded His earthly sojourn and returned to Heaven by a miraculous ascension, angels appeared to give instruction to the 500 people that were present. The angels’ message was a powerful encouragement and indication of what these disciples had witnessed. “And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel: Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.” (Acts 1:9-11)

It would be impossible not to give a paramount role to angels in God’s kingdom after viewing the closeness of angel activity to the Son of God.These beautiful spirits are dedicated to us when we are surrendered Christians. Apostle Paul spoke of this wonderful ministry in the church. There is a beautiful connection between angels and anointed preachers.“And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.” (Hebrews 1:7) A minister is the servant of God’s people and must be totally selfless and untiring in their devotion. When a minister is totally the Lord’s, angels will fight for him and spot every destroyer. Ministers today are mostly professional hirelings that serve for wealth and acclaim. Angels are helpers of the true men of God and they serve the saints also. “Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” (Hebrew 1:14) The study of angels will change your life if you take the Bible seriously.

Chambers claims angels travel at the speed of light. He is wrong.

According to St. Thomas Aquinas — the greatest theologian who ever lived — angels travel at the speed of thought, which means they can travel to any location in the entire universe instantly with no passage of time.

By claiming angels travel at the speed of light, Chambers — unwittingly or not — is anthropomorphizing angels, when in fact they are immortal, inter-dimensional holy spirits not subject to the constraints of the physical cosmos or to time.

So I was interested in this article till I got to the last paragraph and found out that learning about the Lords angels was free with the first article “Angels: Holy and unholy” but if you want to learn more you need to get the notebook “The invisible realm: Holy Angels and Unholy Angels” Now from what I gather these Angels in the “invisible realm” cost money to learn about so we can get a “biblical picture” for only $29.95 you too can get set straight on invisible realm money Angels. Just in case we weren’t satisfied with the free Angels I guess…….

I believe u r correct Anonymous 3:36. I enjoyed this article but do not believe angels are bound by our time constructs. They cannot be . All I can say is praise the name of Jesus!

      • Louis

Thanks, CZ. By praising Christ, you are on the right track. He is still the Lord, and has not retired from His position of governorship over all that is seen and unseen — as the world shall soon see when he ends the impending tribulation in a most dramatic and masterful way by personally making a fiery visit to the earth to call forth into being the “holy age.” (ECCLI. 24:46 and ACTS 3:20-21 and APOCALYPSE 20:2)

Yep, substitute the word angels for fairies or unicorns and you’ll be on the right track..

Lesbians despise Bible-based religion because Bible-based religion condemns lesbianism.

“All four of the Gospel writers shared the appearance of angels at His tomb following His resurrection from the dead. John told this event as follows…”

The four gospels in the bible are by anonymous authors. They have no idea who wrote them. There is a theological debate as to whether they have anything to do with Christianity at all, and are not copies from a single source to from the Mithras religion. Mithras is the origin of a half human half divine redeemer of mankind born on 25th dec., baptism, miracles, 12 deciples, the eurcharist, heaven and hell after life, associated with the lion and the lamb, same church hierarchy, same priestly costumes of fish god Dagon/Baal from the Zoroastrian branch of Mithrasism (origin of 3 wise men), same dogma, rituals, festivals dates and all.

      • frosty

You conveniently left out the fact that the flowering of Mithraism occurred after the close of the New Testament canon, much too late for it to have influenced anything that appears in the New Testament. Moreover, no monuments for the cult can be dated earlier than A.D. 90-100, and even this dating requires us to make some exceedingly generous assumptions.

It would have been better to have remained quiet and thought to be wise than to have posted such nonsense and demonstrated such a profound foolishness.

        Sigh!

And the day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the supreme being as his father in the womb of a virgin will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerve in the brain of Jupiter. But may we hope that the dawn of reason and freedom of thought in these United States will do away with this artificial scaffolding, and restore to us the primitive and genuine doctrines of this most venerated reformer of human errors.
-Thomas Jefferson, Letter to John Adams, April 11, 1823
The similarities between the stories and characters in the Bible and those from previous (Pagan) mythologies are both undeniable and well-documented. It is only due to extreme the extreme religious bias that pervades our world today that people rarely get exposed to this information.
In this short piece I’ll attempt to show blatant similarities with regard to two of the most important Biblical narratives: the Genesis story and the character of Jesus Christ.
The Book of Genesis’s Flood Story Mirrors The Epic Of Gilgamesh From Hundreds Of Years Earlier
Here are a number of elements that both Gilgamesh and the flood story in Genesis share:
      1. God decided to send a worldwide flood. This would drown men, women, children, babies and infants, as well as eliminate all of the land animals and birds.
      2. God knew of one righteous man, Ut-Napishtim or Noah.
      3. God ordered the hero to build a multi-story wooden ark (called a chest or box in the original Hebrew), and the hero initially complained about the assignment to build the boat.
      4. The arc would have many compartments, a single door, be sealed with pitch and would house one of every animal species.
      5. A great rain covered the land with water.
      6. The arc landed on a mountain in the Middle East.
      7. The first two birds returned to the ark. The third bird apparently found dry land because it did not return.
      8. The hero and his family left the ark, ritually killed an animal, offered it as a sacrifice.
      9. The Babylonian gods seemed genuinely sorry for the genocide that they had created. The God of Noah appears to have regretted his actions as well, because he promised never to do it again.
Keep in mind the level of detail in these similarities. It’s not a matter of just a flood, but specific details: three birds sent out, resisting the call to build the arc, and a single man being chosen by God to build the arc.
Then consider that the first story (Gilgamesh) came from Babylon — hundreds of years before the Bible was even written. Do you honestly think, based on the similarities above, that those who wrote the Genesis story had not heard the Gilgamesh story?
And if they had heard it, and they were simply rehashing an old, very popular tale, what does that say about the Bible?
Jesus’s Story Is An Obvious Rehashing Of Numerous Previous Characters
Perhaps even more compelling is the story of Christ himself. As it turns out it’s not even remotely original. It is instead nothing more than a collection of bits and pieces from dozens of other stories that came long before. Here are some examples.
      1. Asklepios healed the sick, raised the dead, and was known as the savior and redeemer.
      2. Hercules was born of a divine father and mortal mother and was known as the savior of the world. Prophets foretold his birth and claimed he would be a king, which started a search by a leader who wanted to kill him. He walked on water and told his mother, “Don’t cry, I’m going to heaven.” when he died. As he passed he said, “It is finished.“
      3. Dionysus was literally the “Son of God”, was born of a virgin mother, and was commonly depicted riding a donkey. He healed the sick and turned water to wine. He was killed but was resurrected and became immortal. His greatest accomplishment was his own death, which delivers humanity itself.
      4. Osiris did the same things. He was born of a virgin, was considered the first true king of the people, and when he died he rose from the grave and went to heaven.
      5. Osiris’s son, Horus, was known as the “light of the world”, “The good shepherd”, and “the lamb”. He was also referred to as, “The way, the truth, and the life.” His symbol was a cross.
      6. Mithra‘s birthday was celebrated on the 25th of December, his birth was witnessed by local shepherds who brought him gifts, had 12 disciples, and when he was done on earth he had a final meal before going up to heaven. On judgment day he’ll return to pass judgment on the living and the dead. The good will go to heaven, and the evil will die in a giant fire. His holiday is on Sunday (he’s the Sun God). His followers called themselves “brothers”, and their leaders “fathers”. They had baptism and a meal ritual where symbolic flesh and blood were eaten. Heaven was in the sky, and hell was below with demons and sinners.
      7. Krishna had a miraculous conception that wise men were able to come to because they were guided by a star. After he was born an area ruler tried to have him found and killed. His parents were warned by a divine messenger, however, and they escaped and he was met by shepherds. The boy grew up to be the mediator between God and man.
      8. Buddha‘s mother was told by an angel that she’d give birth to a holy child destined to be a savior. As a child he teaches the priests in his temple about religion while his parents look for him. He starts his religious career at roughly 30 years of age and is said to have spoken to 12 disciples on his deathbed. One of the disciples is his favorite, and another is a traitor. He and his disciples abstain from wealth and travel around speaking in parables and metaphors. He called himself “the son of man” and was referred to as, “prophet”, “master”, and “Lord”. He healed the sick, cured the blind and deaf, and he walked on water. One of his disciples tried to walk on water as well but sunk because his faith wasn’t strong enough.
      9. Apollonius of Tyana (a contemporary of Jesus) performed countless miracles (healing sick and crippled, restored sight, casted out demons, etc.) His birth was of a virgin, foretold by an angel. He knew scripture really well as a child. He was crucified, rose from the dead and appeared to his disciples to prove his power before going to heaven to sit at the right hand of the father. He was known as, “The Son of God”. The problem, of course, is that these previous narratives existed hundreds to thousands of years before Jesus did.
      Logic Sets In
Many are familiar with Occam’s Razor, which states that, all things being equal, one should not seek complex explanations when more simple ones are available. No one disputes that these other stories predate the Judeo-Christian Bible, so we really only have two options:
      1. The religious explanation is that while the other stories were very much the same as those in the Bible, they are all false. But when they occur in the Bible (despite it being much the same content), this time the stories are true. One explanation of the resemblances to the earlier myths is that Satan created them to lead people astray from the true Messiah that would come much later. So essentially, an ultra-powerful and evil being (Created by God) influenced humanity to create deceptive stories — thousands of years before the real version — so that people wouldn’t believe the real thing when they saw it.
      2. The alternative explanation is that the nature of storytelling during the period was such that central themes propagated through time. This combined with the natural tendency to have certain repeating elements in human stories, and the fact that the Bible stories came after the other ones, explains the similarities to previous myths. And since the stories of worldwide floods, virgin births, and people rising from the dead that the Bible is based on were false to begin with (which everyone agrees on) — they are also false in the Bible.
In short, the Bible is simply another iteration of the same themes that came long before it.
Which of these two explanations makes more sense to you?
The New Testament Bible is an amalgamation of all of the world’s religions into one, as ordered by Constantine during the 4th century… The scribes of the Roman church literally redacted, rewrote and downright changed the gospels of Mathew, Mark, Luke and John to comply with Constantine’s orders… The allegory of Jesus Christ derived from the fable of Mithra, the divine son of God (Ahura Mazda) and messiah of the first kings of the Persian Empire around 400 BC… His birth in a grotto was attended by magi who followed a star from the East… They brought “gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh” (as in Matt. 2:11) and the newborn baby was adored by shepherds… He came into the world wearing the Mithraic cap, which popes imitated in various designs until well into the 15th century…

The first time a person hears the lies spelled out in this post (similar to the lies found in documentaries such as ‘Zeitgeist’), it is a cause for consternation and concern. The diligent will always rise to the occasion of the challenge, however, and will devote the hours of study needed to climb to the top of this mountain of garbage.

When voices like yours actually decide to bring some meat to the table, things might get interesting. But until that day, you have nothing but warm gas and echos. You are all a parody of each other.

Bring to the fore some evidence. Produce evidence in support of your lies which demonstrates that the Messiah of Israel was based on Mithra or Tammuz or Bacchus or whoever. Don’t waste our time with modern evidence. Rather, bring something older than 2000 years to the table. Bring something which will ONCE demonstrate its authenticity as dating to before the time of Messiah. Anything else you hawks peddle is just stuff and nonsense. It is more of the same emptiness. More lies.

Don’t waste time pointing to December 25th or to the Greek name Jesus the Christ. Not interested. Bring one piece of evidence to show that ANYTHING in the New Testament Gospels, as originally written, is based on your pagan poison. I say ‘your’ because since you traffic in these lies, you might enjoy swimming in the worst of them.

Constantine and the council of Nicae had a big hand in canon selection; and there is no doubt about that. So what? Constantine tried to mingle paganism with the Way, the Truth and the Life, and what he gave birth to was Catholicism, which in turn gave birth to Christianity. I do not defend such things. I defend only the written word of YHWH Elohim, our Creator. I defend the Scriptures; both the Old and the New Testaments. Constantine was yet another in a long line of tools in the hand of our Creator. Constantine was used to suit the purposes of the Almighty. You will be used in like manner.

Liars have had over 2000 years to discredit the Gospels and the rest of the New Testament writings. You have failed. You come here to post your noise in an effort to prey on the weak. You prey on those who have not been diligent in their studies. And you may mislead a few of them. But know this: Each one you DO mislead, you will be held accountable for. That you are ignorant of the true dire consequences you have in store for you will not mitigate your circumstances even to the slightest degree.

You will be held accountable for every idle word.

        You have been warned.

        • GenZan

Oh my, a Christian warning someone that dares put holes in his precious book of fables… Well little minded and spiritually lacking life-form entity, other than recite your book of horrors, book by book, chapter by chapter and verse by verse, what actually are you capable of as a spiritual being other than flapping your jaw? Do you have any special Siddhis(powers), can you see the future, heal the sick, feed the hungry with bread-loaves and fish? Can you walk on water, or can you actually don much of anything other than stuff your face all day and wipe your woefully constipated over-sized bottom in the morning with a half roll of toilet paper? I can predict future events of those around me in great detail and have saved several lives as a result. I can see future injuries and warn those near me of its potential of happening. I have done this all my life. Most first fear what I have to say, but later silently want to know because of my accuracy. I do not ordinarily tell many this, because many screech and scold(fear), Christians yell about unclean spirits and act like the idiots that they are. I’ll bet you are far less useful than your toilet spiritually!
