Two Main Concurrent Events in Revelation - World War and Financial Collapse

The Book of Revelation tells of two significant events that will soon take place at the end of this age. And they will occur at about the same time.
First is the gathering of the world’s armies into one location – Armageddon.

Rev 16:14   For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, [which] go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. 
Rev 16:16   And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. 

It is also at this time in history, when the world is at war, that something catastrophic happens to the money system.
Babylon is the world’s money system. It is about buying and selling and trade.

Rev 16:19   …and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. 

Rev 18:10   …Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. 
Rev 18:11   And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: 
Rev 18:17   For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. 

“In one hour” – all at once – so great riches come to nothing.
“In one hour” could mean that once the trouble with the money system starts, it just continues to deteriorate until the final total collapse. Things will never recover and get better.
These two concurrent prophetic events seem near.
